Looking for jobs

I've worked in retail before and had mystery shoppers come to my store. I want to find work as a mystery shopper but I am so confused. I've been contacted by companies that I could tell were scams right from the start. Just looking for some advice about finding work as a shopper. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It won't take that long. Most of these companies use 2 or 3 programs to schedule. If you use Firefox, it will remember your answers. They all have very identical forms as well.

You also may want to create a New e-mail account. Once you are in their database you will get 20-30 e-mails a day.

And of course there is also a list of legitimate companies on this site with a link located just below the "Your Reply" box on any page. It is called the "Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies" and shows not only companies but also links to threads for recent discussions.

Flash: I see that now. I looked, but couldn't find. I would not have listed the other guy.

I know where you are as far as looking for the LEGIT companies. I did about 2 months research. DO NOT EVER SEND MONEY FOR A LIST! They pull it from the same place you can for free. I found that Jobslinger was good for me because you can combine the companies in one spot....one stop shop. Another thing, sign up for as many as you can. You will soon narrow them down to your favorite companies and shops. Most of all.....stay with the forum...good heads up site!

kar1960...I am in the southeast and Corporate Ressearch is a company that offers gas stations. Don't know where u r. Stay with the forum...u will get ideas. Good luck!

Good news! Circle K is shopped. Read, and continue signing with MSPs. In my area, these shops go like hotcakes.

Maritz and New Image have stations in my area.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
