I'm new. Three questions

Hi, I have two questions about mystery shopping companies.

First can anyone tell me what companies they work with that pay through paypal. I really like this option.

Second, is anyone willing to tell me what companies have clients in Washington D.C., Southern Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Baltimore.

Third, can anyone tell me if they know of any good companies that have on line/mail shopping for work. I haven't found any yet and if I can do this without leaving my house I would be so happy. smiling smiley

Thanks for any info.

Off the top of my head, many of the companies that use the SASSIE reporting platform pay by PayPal. Look in the second post in this thread [www.mysteryshopforum.com] for a list of companies that use the SASSIE system.

Generally shoppers are aware of who shops their area and are not enthmusiastic about handing out that information, just as GM would not hand their client list to Ford. This is where doing your own research comes into play. A good place to start is to watch the job board here or register with the free version of Jobslinger.com to see who is shopping your area. There are companies that shop everywhere in the continental US including Maritz, Corporate Research, Bare and Market Force (blue portal). Of these I know 2 pay by direct deposit and I'm not sure about the other two.

The on line/mail shopping shows up very occasionally with regular mystery shopping companies. There are companies out there that claim you are doing that such as Swan Consumer Logistics. I would suggest you read through [www.mysteryshopforum.com] as the cautions that are mentioned there would seem to apply to all such on line 'shopping' situations.
Thanks, this is all great information. I understand why D.C. shoppers would not want to hand out their list of companies. I will look into the companies that use SASSIE. dc
dcgirl: Sign up on as many companies as you can - minimum is 30-40 (it is not that bad....all applications are very easy, they all use wither SaSSie or Prophet forms and if you use firefox it remembers what you entered. You can do all 30-40 in few hours.
I am not in the DC area, but am hesitant to list my favorite companies solely because I can't afford more competition. I take almost everything I see locally, so even though you can't apply for those some else can and would take the few jobs I have.

If however you ask a specific question about an MSP like length of pay time, reasonableness of expectations, or anything else, I will gladly answer it about that specific MSP.
