Ardent Services

Hi, I am new to mystery shopping and am in the process of applying to several of the companies that were listed on volition.com. I was thrilled to see that Ardent services covers [Burrito Company] but this is the only company that has not verified receipt of my application. I decided to apply a second time after a week passed with no answer but I still did not get anything from them. Does anyone have experience with Ardent? Are they looking for a specific demographic? Thanks for any info you can give me. dc

Remove the client name. This is a violation of your ICA....

Actually, they list the company on their own website, so I'm not sure if this is an actual violation.

I had the same issue with them and actually forgot that I put in an application. Then I came across an e-mail from Kern Scheduling that they were scheduling a training class for Ardent to qualify to do this shop. So basically the only way to qualify to shop for Ardents client is to go through training and they only have training in specific areas they need shoppers. So I doubt you will probably ever hear anything from them, you just got to wait until they have training in your area.

I think what roxygirlie is trying to say is that I seriously doubt Ardent has anything in their ICA regarding mentioning client names when they prominently display their clients name on their website. If you would like to point out on Ardent's ICA agreement where it states mentioning their client is an actual violation then I will stand corrected.

Thanks for all of the input. I will eagerly await an email from Kern Scheduling. I am going to try and see how I can remove this just in case I am wrong but I agree with roxiegirlie because Ardent displays on their own web page that they are proud to have this client. DC

There is an "Edit Post" in blue in the lower right hand corner of your post. That is where you can make changes and resubmit. But it looks as though the Administrator of the forum already took care of it because forum policy also is not to name the client and the company in the same thread.

I love Ardent. They pay quickly and are fun to work with. One client wonder though...

But I believe Kern Scheduling tells you to still fill out the Aardent application after applying already with Kern. Am I correct???

Please tell me so I can start shopping that delicious burrito chain and not waste time applying "the wrong way."

That is how I did it Arch. Start with Kern Scheduling and wait to be accepted into a training class. Then, Kern will tell you to fill out your info on the Ardent site.

Either way is fine. I applied to Ardent first and after I was accepted for training, notified them that I had already filled out an application with Ardent. After being accepted for training, you'll have to fill out one more thing which they'll supply, as well as send a copy of a voided check (they pay by direct deposit).

Ardent's street address is listed somewhere on their website. That failing, try searching with anywho.com, etc.

I did not find the MSC listed with Anywho. I did Google the phone number and found a listing of an apartment number in Hacienda Heights, CA (Ardent Services' active president was listed as Sujan Manchireddy)... made me sit up and take notice...

No, you won't find a phone number. The company is very small, and as far as I know, they're unlisted. Look for other threads on the Ardent here, and make sure you're registered with KSS, who does the training.

What I found with their website telephone number: located in Littleon, CO; Ardent has/had $55.1 million, 200-500 employees, 20 years industry experience... don't know what year this information was posted.

Do you know how to become a MS editor?

Kern Sheduling AKA KSS. They send out emails for the training. Yes, Ardent is located in Colorado. I wasn't aware they had their phone number on the site, I stand corrected.

I've seen solicitations for editing jobs from time to time, but not consolidated in one place, sorry. Hopefully someone can guide you in the right direction.
