Coyle - what to include in note section of application

Is there anything specific I should be writing in the "Please provide a brief note supporting your application" section? So far I have just been including my fee, and maybe a small note about my experience if it applies. I am new and most of my shop applications have been declined, including a phone one.

I usually write something like, "I am an experienced mystery shopper, I have performed this type of shop on multiple occasions, and I can help you on xxx days within the assigned date range."
ISS publicly posts "Badge" ratings. Even with a decade of experience, no one would assign a shop to me on ISS until I did a couple of low ball shops to earn credibility on the platform.

Hello! I work as an independent contractor as one of the schedulers for Coyle. The top three things I look for when assigning are the requested fee, the date availability, and the evaluator’s rating (if they have done an evaluation previously). Rotation also plays a role if someone has already been to that location.

My suggestion is to keep it brief. Definitely include your bid but my other suggestion is to list other alternate days you may be available. Some clients have multiple evaluations completed each month and we cannot have two people performing an evaluation on the same day, plus clients like to have them spaced out when possible. This is especially true of phone evaluations, which are a great way to start because it gives you an evaluator rating. As a prior commenter said, you can state you have past experience with that type of evaluation but I wouldn’t worry about writing too much more than that.

I hope this helps a bit!

Thank you!

Adding that back when I was scheduling, I liked when the evaluators checked and posted hotel availability in the hotel requests, so I always do that. It avoids scheduling a date and then finding out the hotel is not available, or the rates were too high.
I usually just say hello or hi, unless I need to convey something like I can only take the shop if I also get shops X Y and Z in the same area, or it is an MSC I rarely do work for and I want to convey I have experience for the type of shop. If it is a super plum bonused assignment, I throw in the works.
This is incredibly helpful - thank you so much @krattner, @SteveSoCal, @mystery2me, @CorrieCJ

Also wondering if you have advice for getting my first phone assignments? I have applied for 3 so far with no luck. I assume it's because I have no rating or previous assignments on Coyle, but they recommend you start with phone assignments, so that's what I've been trying. For all 3, I wrote that I have personal professional experience in these scenarios so I am familiar with the task and what to look for (i.e. booking a corporate event, booking a vacation excursion).

They don't care what you write, you just have to put something in the box. No one reads it. Ipsos and a couple others removed the boxes completely. Write the name of a color, or a tree, or a dog.. no one cares.
