I am having the same problem. It has been 4 months since I have been paid I have called the company several times and it just goes to voicemail
Keep choosing different menu options, and you may eventually get someone. I can’t remember what I chose that got me through to a person, but something did. Just be persistent. It’s ridiculous that it has to be this way, but I did eventually get paid. I sent many many emails and called many many times. I also made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
How's this for irony? They have online gambling assignments. When just doing work for them is already a losing gamble. You can lose twice!
ELITE PAID ME WELL FOR MY FIRST JOBS ONCE, Then I did a dozen more and no pay at all this year. I am owed 100s. "David Hartley" never answers his phone. (727-674-0300) Messages and Emails to accounting (shopperpayables@elitecxs.com) go unanswered.
Fight back.
1. Complain to Florida BBB.
2. Write to the businesses that hire them. Tell them they are associated with a fraudulent company that keeps the fees they have paid that are supposed to go to the shoppers.
3. Attack Elite at their income sources.
4. Email those schedulers that you have built a relationship with. Get their take and spread the word.
5. Let Tipalti support (800-305-3550) know that they have a fraudulent client.
6. Keep calling and sending emails.
7. Tell the Elite schedulers about this fraud.
Number 2 is your most potent action. Do it today.
It was only after filing a complaint with the state of FL that I got resolution. I actually found this sub because I was googling this company and stumbled here from a Reddit post.
Thanks. They owe me over $200. I've been a shopper for over ten years and never been scammed like Elite has done.
Here's a message from one of their new clients. Elite CXS is committing fraud and misrepresenting their "clients" without permission!!!

"thank you for providing more context regarding your concern. I’d like to clarify that C******* is not affiliated with Elite CXS. We do not engage their services for auditing or mystery shopping, nor do we have any formal business relationship with them."

Competitor shop or faking success to try and convince other prospects to work with them?

Is there anyone NOT having problems with them?

There.
Fixed it for you.

Unfortunately, this feels like Groundhog Day. Elite CXS is the gift that keeps on giving!
I received several emails from Scheduler "Kimberly" at Elite this week. I very nicely said I was interested in helping her staff her shops, but wondered if she could detail the payment process and timelines.

Crickets.
Yes, I got some from Kimberly - no last name. I know there is someone, at least one, with that first name who schedules for other companies. But I'm guessing that a trickster at Elite is simply using an alias that shoppers may be familiar with to seem trustworthy. Kimberly, for them, is just a made up name or bot, not the real Kimberly. My theory.

Great suggestion and it worked for me. If you are owed money, write to David and emphasize #2 and #3, and mention some client names. good luck!
Good work! All scammed shoppers need to do this. Don't wait. Do it for all of us.

This makes me wonder if the owner of Elite is just trying to recruit shoppers, having no real clients, to obtain shoppers' social security numbers for nefarious use. At this point, it would not be surprising.
^^^^ Sestra, this is way bizarre. How long can this travesty go on? Seems as if I have been reading about this forever. I had wanted to do an expensive experience shop but never pursued. The SS harvesting theory is interesting.

And on another note, I don't think the C****** shop is a competitor shop as mentioned by a poster. It's a reveal. Maybe Elite is doing this gratis in hopes of securing the client at your time and expense? Who knows.

I have received frequent emails from Kimberly in the past 09 days or so.

Very disturbing. I hope you all get paid.
I have given up hope of being paid the hundreds owed to me. So I wrote to their client directly sending them documentation from the Florida BBB, Google published complaints, and Elite's phone number so they could verify that no one answers. Result: I no longer see this company's shops listed.
Now you do the same thing. They screwed you. Screw them back!

Glad I happened upon this thread. Received email from Elite CXS and was contemplating an audit they're pitching Hard pass now.

I don't think there are any Russians / And there ain't no Yanks
Just corporate criminals\ / Playin' with tanks
I'm also in the camp that "Kimberly" is not an actual person named Kimberly. I've responded to a couple of her emails, expressing interest but also with questions clarifying the payment process and timeline. No response. I think this is an experienced scheduler who works for other MSCs, using an assumed name to protect their reputation since they are fully aware they are recruiting for a scam operation. Recruiters are being replaced left and right with Self Assign options and AI assigned options, so i guess I don't fully blame this person for trying to make money where they can. (Until they, too, are not paid and then they'll probably be on here complaining with the rest of us).

Hey, if people want to get together and document all the non-paid work we have done, I’m all for gathering the data and let’s see what we can do about it. We all have proof we did the work and can show non-payment . We also have documentation of our attempts to collect payment, without response. I’m sure with all the jobs he’s continuing to post, there will be many more people in our position. If it can’t be prosecuted, which I think it could if be it’s a large scale rip-off, then we can least blast it all over the internet where it can slam his business opportunities. He’s on Linked In, and based on the clients we’ve done shops for, we know which of his customers to contact. Any thoughts?
The "F" word comes to mind. I'm referring to the one that ends in "d," and it's not "friend."

Choosing to work only with companies that are members of the MSPA can help, but it's not fool proof. I found out the hard way some advertise and even post logos on their websites for trusted approvals, and say they are members of the MSPA, and other reputable vetting organizations, but were booted for this exact issue.

Fact check that for the offending business entity and also consider this: Shady MSP's often change names, merge, file Chapter 7, and regroup to hide "bad acts," but there will always be a paper trail. I've gotten scammed too many times and won't work for any company unless I know and trust my scheduler, and have done my "due diligence" by researching the gig posting company, including shopper and client reviews.

If they are MSPA members and they're not paying shoppers, they won't be for long, but not unless the MSPA knows about the unethical/abusive business practices so check theMSAP and other forums to see if they have other complaints, and report them to the MSPA.

Reviews are very very powerful; BBB, Google, Trustpilot...their clients need to know as well because if they're paying the MSP to pay us for the gig, and they're not, that's compounded Frau....

Give up on getting paid. Write to the companies that use the offending MSPs. Show them that half the money the pay is being fraudulently retained. Show them they are being cheated along with the shoppers. Ask them to try to call Elite. Show them your non-paid invoices. An honest business will cancel their contracts.
That's the best way you hit them back. It works!!
