New Image / CEX Research

Did anyone get an email about a convenience store shop? The reason I'm asking is because, although I used to shop for them, with the same client, I thought they disappeared or went with one of those app programs when Prophet shut down. Everything in the email leads to a site which looks exactly like their old Prophet site. The job is even listed there. But the web address shows enuntio.com with a .nsf suffix.

Does this make sense? I used to love working with them but this resurrection of Prophet with an active job board is quite eerie.

Also, does anyone know if the list of MSCs at the bottom of the page has been updated per the pinned spreadsheet? The sheet doesn’t work on my phone and is nearly as unusable on the laptop.

Sorry, I think Prophet might have been before my time. Regarding Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies, not sure.

For me, the Google Sheet is currently working though.

If you don't use Chrome as your web browser, maybe try accessing it with that, and possibly in Incognito.
I can't remember when Prophet officially went away but this MSC has kept this same job board with active jobs pretty much continually. I just logged in with my usual UN/PW and everything looked OK. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up a shop if you see one that you want.
I just took several of the convenience store shops they used to have...so glad to see them back with NIM. Great company, imo.

Several yrs. ago, I was in the process of applying with New Image, but experienced a problem agreeing to their contract. I contacted the company and received a rapid reply. Over an entire afternoon, the company and I worked to fix the error, but without success. On each step, the burden of error was on my ISP. my browser my OS and/or my computer. That evening, I accessed this forum and learned other shoppers were having an identical difficulty. The posters, though, had been made aware the situation was NOT on their end. For me, several hours had been wasted when a simple statement of a snag with them would have been understandable. I decided to pass on the company
I think the Prophet platform died and went to mystery shopping hell a little over a year ago, maybe 2? I'm pretty sure it was in January, but as usual, the calendar in my head can't distinguish between last year and 5 years ago or any of the Januaries in between. I hadn't heard from Deanna for a couple years before that, she used to call me out of the blue and ask me to help when she couldn't find anyone else. Always seemed to be remote locations far from where I actually needed to be when she needed me.
Moreled, that's what confused me -How are they still operation on Prophet? I was hoping someone here could solve that mystery.

I'm wondering the same thing, because when I saw this thread, I checked my bookmark for NIM, and opened it up....it's still on the Prophet software platform! With available shops, no less! So I don't get it, either!

I don't know Ses, seems strange to me too.. I've long forgotten my password to NIM so I'm not gonna go looking for it at all.

Likely: First initial, last name initial, last 4 of your phone number.
Couple of possibilities and don't know if any are right.

Prophet was never shut down. Support and updates just stopped (preventing viruses, capability to use new browsers etc.). This is most likely what happened with New Image.

New Image liscensed the software with no updates or further support available.

My company (a software company) has done this - we put something in "maintenance mode" and it's still available to use, but we won't make any major changes. We'll only fix security flaws.
I was surprised to see these shops come through, since this particular store is usually shopped by another MSC in my area. If I was a night owl I'd consider a route of the 1 pic/1 question shops.
