Wondering if anyone could share insight on ordering requirements for a small plates kind of restaurant.
It's a typical one appetizer or dessert and two entrees. The restaurant has a large selection of mezze, small plates and entrees. All the "entrees" are an animal protein without sides.
My guest is mostly vegetarian but will eat fish sometimes. I'm not eating meat at the moment but will eat fish. No duplicates are allowed, etc. There is one fish entree.
Would it be acceptable to do a small plate and the fish entree to satisfy the requirements? They offer falafel which could work but it's part of the mezze/appetizer menu. There are small plates which could work for our diets but not sure how that would work in terms of entrees. Just ask for them to come out together?
It seems like the service is more about the timing of courses than what is specifically ordered. I could ask Coyle but feel like I've pestered them a little too much lately.
