Presto - Letting a job "Slide off" or proactively cancelling: Is there a difference?

This other thread got me wondering.

Because more often lately, I have declined shops that I have assigned to myself for various reasons. Like if it's a large gas station with no gas (Doubling the required photo uploads and reducing my overall "Pay" which was only base rate to begin with, I'll just physically cancel and move on. Does it count as a flake / citation? Presto's rules say it may but does not go into detail about which ones may or not. Is it up to the individual MSCs who those shops belong to to decide how they want cancellations marked?

I really don't want to end up with 200 flake citations that I am kept unaware of. Just wondered if anyone had an inside scoop on slide off / decline difference.

I know the decision is with the individual MSC and they decide which project has those demerits! I have let the lighting shops drop off quite a few times without any scolding. But I have regularly received emails reminding not to flake on a certain big audit or else one could be removed from that program. I never have let those fall off, ever, but they sure keep reminding us we better not, lol.

Anyways, jokes aside, thank you sestrahelena for providing information about Presto! I would never have tried it, if I didn't learn more about it.

In my short experience with Presto though, I have manually abandoned (green button in the corner) / removed a shop myself on maybe two to three occasions (misread weekday for weekend on the QSR shops). After I removed the shop, I was no longer able to claim it for 24 hours. I was still able to perform future shops, but I don't know if there are flake citations being recorded. When logged into MSC Sassie platforms though, I did later notice the shop log records in Sassie get updated with the completed shops in Presto. I don't know if citations would be recorded in Sassie, if the shop got removed that quick. Reading an old article on Presto Shopper Support / Knowledge Base, it sounds like the green button is a pass/workaround?

Hopefully, someone can provide some insight if there are flake citations potentially associated with the green button.
I've been banned on one particular blue pin Presto shop before. They said I took too many on and did not complete them all. This was from a few years ago. To this day, I am still not allowed to complete that type of shop when it comes up. I contacted the provider last year and they said it is indeed a lifetime ban.
My guess is they would be considered the same. In the end it is up to each individual MSC, or even each project manager. I got into doo doo once for canceling a bunch early on, right after I took them, when I was still learning the ins and outs of the new platform. I had to contact the individual project manager.
Maybe adding in the shops I've let drop from Presto is how I ended up with 155 flakes that I can't verify?
