Mystery Shoppers

I did a total of 5 shos for this company. I was paid for only one and have 2 outstanding from July and 2 from Sept. All say that the payment is pending,
I recall having to send them an email to receive even the one payment, Is anyone else having an issue with them?

You did something wrong that the editor did not like and rejected your to shops to which you will never see that money. I have one like this from IPSOS due to receipts giving a different time than what was the actual time I had turned in. I changed the time on the report when it was returned to correct the problem and left a comment in the report that I had changed the time to please the editor
This company never pays shoppers. I'm surprised the lady running it still retains clients. You have to go the BBB route in order to force them to pay you.
Timely payment has been a years-long issue with this MSC, so I rarely shop for them. I always get paid but have to chase payment. I only take a shop when the fee+bonus reflects the expected hassle and delay.
The following is strictly my recollection and it is certainly possible I am mistaken.

The MSC employs a logo that is three different color bags and is based in Chattanooga. When I was completing work for them, 2006 & 7, the mother was in charge, with the daughter, possibly named Tiffany, as her assistant. I do not have any memory of any problems with either pay or reports. Finally, while I do not remember why I no longer applied for jobs through the company, I am guessing it was that their shops did not fit any of the three work categories I implemented in 2007.
It took me about ten emails to get paid by them for a shop. They didn't pay me at all for another, more expensive, shop that I did for them. Be careful. I see them advertising multiple clients in TN.
This non-paying MSC dilemma seems to be a growing trend. There have been four or five MSCs discussed here in the last year or so that have apparently stopped paying shoppers. Mystery Shoppers had paid me on time, but that was 15+ years ago. Nothing in my area since. Sorry to see that they are now going in the other direction.
@Insight

I know we sign "agreements" not to go to the client, but if you have proof that you did the shops and are not being paid and you feel like they won't ever pay you, then why not go to the client and complain? Last thing the client wants to hear is that the company they hired is not paying the shoppers. I doubt you would work for this MSC again, but at least let the client know that the company they chose to do business with is screwing the people providing the results. If there are complaints on BBB from other shoppers, then why not make the client aware of this? Granted, the client should be doing their due-diligence when hiring these MSC, but at the same time, I'm not sure I would just roll over on this.
