MF & RBG sending emails stating I was assigned shops when I wasn't

What is with Market Force and Reality Based Group sending emails with the subject line “You have been assigned a mystery shop at ….” but in the body of the email it is asking you to assign it? Seems kinda dishonest to send those types of emails. The first time I saw one of those subject lines I freaked out, thinking I accidentally self-assigned myself the shop.

The Curinos (I think) emails often have the subject, "Reminder" when I have no shops scheduled. I, too, freaked out the first few times.
I got one of those emails from Pinnacle. Said I needed to hurry and finish my shop or else.. I replied that I don't currently have any assigned shops with Pinnacle. And I NEVER click on links in emails. I sign in from an app, or on the website ONLY.

Are you sure this isn’t a scam? I have not received any either.

They’re not scams. They’re coming directly from MF and RBG. The subject line starts I am assigned a burger shop from MF, but inside the email it states that there are burger shops in my area and to log in to the site to assign. I’ve just noticed these in the past month.
Thanks for flagging this, we're looking into it. We think someone accidentally grabbed the wrong template. Hang with us while we resolve it.
Not sure if this is related, but the YAHOO AI that is trying to recap messages will tell me I am assigned when it's only a shop posting. It freaked me out at first, but then I realized it was the AI "summary" of what the email was about. I don't see it in the Yahoo desktop version, but on my smartphone, it has a "summary" intro where it says I'm assigned even though it's a shop posting. Have not noticed it this week, but I saw it several times of the prior weeks.

Same here. Thanks for typing it out for me. smiling smiley
This is what I was gonna say. I am seeing this as well. It is not the companies that are doing this. It is AI trying to let you know what the email says kind of up in the subject line. The OP might be talking about something different, but I have seen that a number of times.
