They do charge an extra fee which is so minute. The last
shop I did for them was for 25.00 and if I recall correctly
.42cents was charged for the paypay transfer. No big deal.

Hello tmesa and welcome. CRI does not charge a fee for direct deposit. Every penny counts in this business. But, I'm known for pinching themsmiling smiley
Just did my first job for them yesterday. What's the story on a fee when processing payments?
They tack on a 3% fee if you are paid through paypal. No fee if you set up direct deposit.
Thanks. Nice to know. Direct deposit is easier anyway. Don't have to wait for bank deposit.
Just my thought, but does anyone know how much more info they
have one you thru DD verses paypal?
They just need your checking account routing number & account number. No more info than anyone sees when you write a check.
Hi there,

This is my 1st post on this forum, but I wanted to add that I did one of the dreaded gas station audits that required the time and date stamp. My camera is a sophisticated Olympus, but does not have the capability to time and date stamp. I downloaded a free program and later added the date/time to each photo. I googled the topic and read about it. It was a free trial version and most likely has expired, but I don't need it anymore since I'm not doing any more of those!!! It worked beautifully, but I found the shop to be way too much work for the $. The one I did was around $40 and I haven't done another as of yet. If I ever do, I will download it again.

I love CoRI and their reliable payments. The key is to be patient and wait for the fees to rise. Today's DD for me will be over $200 and included 2 $50 shops that were very easy.

I've only done one shop for them so far and have a question about their "commissions have been raised" emails. I've received a number of those lately and the commissions look pretty decent. However, I haven't been able to find those shops on the "jobs available" lists for August and September. A couple of them have been for college bookstore shops within ten miles of me. I figure there must me something I'm not aware of so could someone with more experience with CRI help me out? Thanks.
They might have been taken by another shopper. You can assign yourself as a back up in case the other shopper can not perform the shop. Hit the backup button and see if that helps. When there commissions do go up they can go very fast.
I am thinking the college book stores have a age limit. I can't remember what it is.
The age limit kind of makes sense, but I got my BS at age 34 and MA at 55. But,it sounds like the company pre-selects and doesn't list those shops if you're over or under the age limit.
Tmesa, do a search and you will find that the topic has been already discussed. Welcome to the board!

I am working on my MA right now. I also have two kids who are a sophomore and freshman in college this year. With either of those scenarios, I would think a bookstore shop would be very believable. As we move both of them in this week, I expect to be spending lots of money in the college shops!!!

Did they change that recently? I'm 37 and I did one a few months ago. At that time the limit was 40.
I received an email on August 24 that said they would not assign to any auditor over 30. Earlier this month, there was a special round for those 18 - 40. It looks like they change the age limit from time to time.
They still email me for this one. Bonused, usually, because it doesn't move otherwise. I'm way past 30!

I saw the announcement. It appears nothing has changed, just as cheap as ever.
I have not found anything reasonable to do for them for a while since the restaurant chain named after a Peanuts character went belly up and canceled their shops.
IMHO, the rational is that if they can get it done cheapr do so.

New to this board... just wanted to comment that in Canada, Paypal is the only method of payment they use, so no getting around the 3%.
