RBG buys Sinclair

I had a very small uncashed e-check from Sinclair. I had reaching out to their accounting department on my to-do list, but I just got an email stating that Reality Based Group has bought Sinclair. It gave instructions on how any unclaimed payments and future shop payments will be handled but no details on whether the Sinclair website and in-house schedules will go away and/or be migrated into the RBG scheduling world.

I always enjoyed detailing with Sinclair's schedulers, even if most of their projects were not worth my time. (To wit: They're currently doing shoe store purchase and returns for $18, so $9 a visit.) I also appreciated that reasonable parking costs could always be reimbursed. I'm not the biggest Sassie fan but I certainly would be happy to never enter another shop report on Sinclair's molasses-speed shop reporting site.

They have some of their other acquisitions listed on their page: [www.realitybasedgroup.com]
and it looks like they've left them as their own companies for now. Sinclair's reporting system was kinda painful, I haven't done a shop for them in forever since they don't have much in my area (I really miss the "general stores"!) but I did always find them to be straightforward reports and payment always came when it was supposed to.

Oh, there's a good number of them. I thought it was because SCM and RBG are based near each other.
I did a lots of shops with Sinclair in the past. They still have some shoes stores but they are far away. With RBG I am did 7 in 2024.

Hey, leave Abby M out of this! She's an angel.

And Marie. Honestly, Nikki is the only one I typically avoid. Everybody else has been great to me.

I also like Sinclair. I like their schedulers. Shops don't pay the best, but I've turned several purchases into extra cash through reselling, so it works out.

There is the truth.
Then there is the right thing to say.
The schedulers at Sinclair are nice and call by phone, but it's been a long time since I've last done regular shops for them. Since they call me, I'm guessing no one in my area is actively picking up current available shops.
Marie is the best of the group. I have not had the negative experiences others have had, but Marie stands out as ALWAYS POSITIVE experiences. Very flexible and professional.

She really is! I just sent her an email telling her how much I appreciate her. A stand among others for sure!
thank you. Nice to know that they bought Strategic Refection's. I did some jobs for them in the past.
