www.mysteryshopperservices.com] is a company that I started with in 2006. I enjoyed working with them and they were good about payments. I have not worked with them in the past year or so because they have not had shops available in my shopping area.
Today I heard from one shopper a discouraging tale of slow payment on substantial reimbursement shops, including denial of receiving receipts and the whole ugly scenario we all dread. Apparently the employee who was keeping all of that part of the business humming has departed and what responsiveness there is appears to be less than stellar. This is just a "heads up" to not laying out your hard cold cash in amounts you can't live without for 2-3 months (she is trying to get reimbursements for February shops). I suspect this is just a rough patch that will get ironed out before long, but it serves as a reminder to make photocopies of any and all receipts before you mail them anywhere and send copies wherever possible so that you retain the original.
Is anyone else having difficulties?
