Sketchy email from Marguerite Turner (scheduler)

yup, they are not paying again. Everyone please file your complaints to BBB, Florida AG, consumer protection, etc.

I originally posted here that I was owed a fairly substantial amount for two different shops. Here’s the approach I took to successfully work with David and Elite.. End of November I decided I had enough of not getting paid so I started commenting on every one of their social media posts. Nothing outrageous, I didn’t sound like a maniac. I was stern and stated the facts succinctly. Short and to the point.

Then I began emailing everyone I had contacts for, namely David and Marguerite. Again, every email from me was polite. I didn’t write a book and I always attached my two missing unpaid pdf invoices and said - can you please let me know when these will be paid? I didn’t threaten or cone off like I was crazy. Sometimes I’d send an email every two days, and if I received a response, I’d give a few days to see if the response worked. In short, become the squeaky wheel. Be the polite thorn in their side. I wasn’t going away and I would be relentless. Start commenting on every new post by Elite that’s made on any social media platform. I didn’t reach out to the Companies I did shops for as I felt that violated my contract.

Then, I started direct messaging to any social media profile or person belonging to EliteCXS in LinkedIn, direct messages thru Facebook. Instagram, TikTok. Every one of my attempts to reach out was polite and just the facts. I always attached my approved invoices. Make it easy for them to find you and how much they owe you. Provide your invoice #’s to them in almost every conversation. They need to know who you are and make yourself the person they know of by first name. And always be polite. Never threaten.

Slowly they started responding. In fact, we had very nice and polite conversations. And eventually I received my tipalti link and then eventually my full payment. It took maybe two months of this. I have a full time job outside of this, but I made myself the squeaky wheel and made them understand that I wasn’t going away. I was set to keep “pounding” away, nonstop and relentless as long as needed. And it worked! My full time field is Analytics and one of my specialties is developing and architecting solutions for online Fraud and Investigation teams. I hope some of this advice will help at least one person out there who was in the same position as me! Last, what’s up with this horribly overly bloated forum with the hundreds of ads? It’s taken me several attempts to write this and hopefully it gets thru!!

Edit - thank you also to the kind person on this sub who dm’d me with additional resources I could use. Appreciate it!! smiling smiley

Can I ask who it was that you had the very nice and polite conversations with? That's the key person we need to reach. Thanks.
Believe it or not, it was David and someone else by the name of Amber Sisson (mailto:asisson@elitecxs.com). According to her signature she is the Director of Client Success at Elite.

yea i heard she joined last year and may be still new. It's insane to think that if David doesn't pay shoppers, does he even pay his employees?
