Completing Presto! reports offsite?

I have another of my patented multi-day gas station routes coming up starting on Halloween.

It has a bunch of darkness shops for a couple of different brands that make things a bit more time sensitive than usual.

Of the 8 Mollusks I've got booked, I need to minimize my time on site for at least 4 of them.

I recall at least one other member here mentioning that they always complete their Presto! reports after the fact.

Typically I take a majority of my Mollusk pix with my camera, and load them into the Presto! report after answering the questions for each section.

Can I just not upload any pictures, log my end time in the app, along with any other questions I have time for, and simply complete the report later?

I would need to be able to start another Mollusk report while some remain incomplete.

Any input into possible MO's would be greatly appreciated!

The first time I did one of the reports, I checked-in at work just to see the full report on Presto. When I got on-site, I re-checked in. I only toggle the answer selections for any issues/infractions, to see if it requires a photo. Aside from check-in, I only enter the start time on-site.

For the report, I'll do it at home on my computer. For the pictures, I've gotten into the habit of uploading it to the report via the app from my phone. After I do this, then I'll finish the report and save a PDF of the report. To be honest, I've submitted some these reports after midnight but within the Presto timeframe. So far, all of my reports have been accepted without any clarification requests.
Me too. Specifically mollusks. That's way too much to do onsite, especially if the connection is less than perfect.
Good info!

Looks like it should work then.

Just snagged the last Mollusk when it fell within the 96 hour window.

Re-reading the form and checkboxes, a phone is only required for checking in. No language regarding how the report has to be completed.

I've always allowed 45 minutes for onsite reports for Mollusks. I've got 4 booked on my first leg, and it would great if I could do them all with reports after the fact.

Unrelated, but I came across a Site Experience at almost 4x the rate! These weren't getting bonused for a long time, but it's like it put some of the bonus money into this one location. On first glance, it doesn't look like it has many issues!
Yeah, I see an Experience shop heavily bonused. In the middle of murder city. In fact someone just got killed at a sister-site yesterday. I don’t need that kind of experience!
Wow, sestra! Maybe you need a camouflage bulletproof Kevlar vest instead. Sorry to hear.

The one I'm visiting is a tad far, but a very clean 7-Eleven. My dilemma will be whether to opt for the small banana or spring for the Big Gulp.
my favorite cutesie gas shop is on my way to a big city from here. It still sits near farmland in the middle of nowhere....it's very small: one gas pump, one cooler, one coffee pot, one check out counter, bags of farm animal feed...it looks more like a feed store than a gas station.
One of the factors leading to this upcoming route was a $75 Site Experience, with a Lighting Audit added on. And I have to get there by 10PM tomorrow night, hence my need to get through 4 Mollusks as quickly as possible

The most surprising thing planning this trip was 9 Famous Highways, all daylight and bonused, in a market area of 250k+, and none of them getting picked up before the date window flipped so I could get them.

The route depended on those falling into place, and I was actively refreshing the Job Board to monitor the calendar. The extra day glitch, which I usually work to my advantage, was bugging me this time...

So, for any of those shops that are on the 'magic" app, (with the exception of the shop with the alphabet letter in the round thing), this what I do:
At the site, I check in to unlock the report with my cell phone. If the site has no service, check in as close to possible as soon as you see the signal return. Report the problem in the report.
For me, I use my digital camera and download the photos into my ever present laptop.
I always create a worksheet for each site and brand. It is individualized for the particular brand and what the MSC asks. The receipts are stapled to that sheet.
Prior to leaving the site, I rename and view the photos on my laptop. I check off each photo required on my worksheet and add the needed data that each site wants (type of shirt that the employee wore, their name, etc, etc)
For the sites with the alphabet letter, I take photos with my cell phone (on silent) and download those into my laptop.
When I return home, I file the reports with my laptop. There has never been a problem
On my worksheet, I also input specifics about the particular shop immediately upon taking the shop. Most important is the end date and time that I am obligated to report the shop before flaking. That is very important for those shops that only have an 8 hour reporting window.
It pays to be organized for a multitude of reasons.
I used to transfer and organize photos on my laptop, but I've gotten away from it with the move to the Magic! app with a couple of the major brands. Those processes add too much to the aggregate time per shop, and that AirDrop rarely works consistently for me doesn't help.

I've also found that creating lots of extra docs to be not worth the time.

I print page 1 of the report for each gas station I'm shopping, and they go into the first pocket of a multi-pocket folder setup. They give me a place to make notes and staple receipts, and, in the case of Famous Highways, I print a simple photo checklist I created on the flip side. Moving to post-site submissions for the Magic! stuff and I may do the same for those brands.

All my LOAs and any guideline printouts I want are in the middle pocket.

Completed shops go in the third pocket, facing backwards. I work from the top of the upside down pile when inputting photos using my phone as last-in first-out coincides with how photos are displayed when accessing SASSIE.

I'm going to take bits and pieces from each of you! Maybe it might help if I do repeat stations in the future or a lot of stations at once. If I forget some of the photos, I treat it like a mollusk and take extra pics. For some reason, those inspection requirements are ingrained into me and pretty much encompass elements from all of the other ones I've done so far.
FWIW, I was unable to complete Presto! reports on my laptop. Any changes made there did not show up when I re-opened the app to upload photos. Maybe I missed a step?

Hm, for me, first, I make sure the report saves and has the latest timestamp. I think the timestamp is located at the bottom left, something along the lines of "last updated". But before accessing the report on the new device, I make sure the report and website/app is first closed on the initial device. You could reopen the report again one more time on the initial device, just to make sure it saved.

After the report has been closed on the initial device, then, I'll open the incomplete report on the new device. The last saved version of the report should be there. Sometimes, if you leave the report open on the previous device, it'll say a previous version of the report has been detected and if you want to continue. I try to avoid this prompt, in case I make the wrong selection.
I think Okie's right about closing one site before opening the other. I had issues with the app not accepting photos in certain slots and switched to the mobile view of the web site, which looks exactly like the app, still on the phone. The problem photos uploaded fine on the browser but other items previously entered would be missing. I don't think I closed the app before using the website. Now I just use the browser. It works much better and never says, "cannot obtain image from device" or whatever.

When I arrive at a site, I use my cell phone (as required) to login at the site. I also input the date, wait for it to be saved, and then exit from the magic app. Perhaps that is why I've never experienced the problem CM describes.
BTW, my photos do not have the time/date stamp visible. However, I do know that the MSC can look at the metadata anyway.

This makes sense. Next time I will make a point to quit the app on the phone before I open up the website on my laptop.

Luckily this was only a minor annoyance on my most recent trip.
