It looks like no one, except perhaps Ipsos, can verify whether you have dropped 155 Ipsos shops. What is clear is you keep talking about having only 5 citations that you can see even though more than one person has brought up the possibility of citations you cannot see. Also, you keep talking about dropping only a small number of Chinese food shops and picking up some of the shops you dropped.
I can tell you, as someone who used to edit SASSIE reports (but not for Ipsos), that SASSIE can have hidden (from shoppers) citations and even hidden deactivations. Just because you can't see 155 citations doesn't mean you didn't drop 155 shops. Of course, it doesn't mean you did drop 155 shops, either.
You once wrote, "I haven't kept track, because I was told by whoever answered my email questions that I had to let the shops drop, and that it wouldn't be a problem. There is absolutely no possible way that I have let 155 Faux Chinese food shops drop in a year or even 2 years. The most that COULD be possible might be 24.. That was a huge range (less than 10 to at most 24) for just one of Ipsos' clients; it made me wonder how credible your recall was regarding how many Ipsos shops (for ALL clients) you dropped in all the years you have shopped for Ipsos.
The way I look at your situation is this:
1. Ipsos (or any MSC) can ban you (or any other shopper) from shopping any of its clients at any time. That's the general rule. You can quit shopping for Ipsos partially or totally, too, of course.
2. Ipsos is free to look at your TOTAL history with them. Things change. Rules change. Schedulers change. Just because you weren't banned previously doesn't mean you can't be banned now.
3. Notwithstanding No. 1 & 2, Ipsos would be wrong to ban you from ANY of its clients based solely on the alleged 155 dropped shops if ALL of them were dropped before the new rules were announced (either directly to you, or posted publicly via mass email or on their website). That would be wrong only because they told shoppers there would be no penalty for dropping shops. (BTW, I always thought that was a bizarre policy.)
4. Picking up a shop you had dropped doesn't necessarily mean everything is hunky dory. For example, different schedulers may post Chinese food shops. If you dropped a shop posted by Scheduler A but picked it up again when it was posted by Scheduler B, that didn't help Scheduler A get paid. Even if Scheduler A posted both shops, you made him/her do extra work for no extra pay. It's especially bad if you dropped the shop to pick it up again only when it was bonused.
5. It is not a good argument to claim you did not drop 155 shops when you did not keep track of how many shops you dropped. It would be different if you did keep track and your records showed a different number. You have no proof but would not accept Ipsos' number. If I were Ipsos, I would probably stop responding to your emails, too.
6. If you really don't care much about the Chinese food shops, why are you spending so much time and energy on this? It is completely up to you how you spend your time but is it worth risking your relationship with a company with shops you do care about?
7. Life happens. A shopper has to drop a shop sometimes. I don't have anywhere near the number of shops BayShopper22 has for Ipsos, but I have shopped for Ipsos for years. It did not matter to me that there were supposed to be no penalties when I dropped some (fewer than 10, total) shops. I still felt bad because I knew I did not keep my promises to complete those shops and my dropping those shops meant extra work for somebody. All other things being equal, I would not fault any scheduler/MSC that decides to favor shoppers who didn't drop shops (or as many shops as I did).

And before the Ishopfirst nonsense started I didn't drop shops, if I couldn't make it to a shop I asked the schedule to reschedule it for me. And even with the eye shop first program, I still sent emails asking to be rescheduled, if it was possible, and they told me they would be no penalty for the shop to just drop.
I've always had a big problem with changes that you only hear about after you've violated some new rule..
