My reply will be predicated upon the most favorable work:pay ratio I have encountered in this business; hands down it is Informa AKA Curinos. All of the shops I have completed through them since 2014 have been sitting in my office, with the pre-2014 onsite shops paying above scale. In addition, on one occasion they had a scheduling error and Immediately corrected the problem with TOP SHELF communication.
Hm shopperbob, I think you've mentioned Informa / Curinos a couple of times. I always meant to look into this MSC, but never could get signed up in the past. But I think I got signed up now. From what I recall, do they mainly only have shops on the west coast?
Okie, I have not seen any shops available for Curinos except online in 10 yrs. I quickly completed one tonight that paid $150 for approx. an hour's work. They have work, employing an iPhone, that pays in the vicinity of $300.
I get regular emails from them about projects that involve loans, financing, etc. with hard and soft credit pulls; are those what you're talking about, bob? I'd much rather do something that doesn't involve my credit score taking a hit.@shopperbob wrote:

Dr, first an answer--yes. I have been completing those shops for a few yrs. and the only occasion for my score to drop was when I was paid extra for a hard credit pull; that was my choice. The drop was approx. 20 points and lasted a few mos., BUT, my scores are in the low 800s and my last loan was paid off in 1976. That stated, the number is actually immaterial to me.
I think it was in Sept., when I received a PM from a board member that he/she* had decided to "give it a try" and was pleased.

I also have done financially related shops for them...They are easy to work with and communicative. And since most are online it does not really matter what part of the country you are in. Quite a few lately require an I Phone which I don't have but like ShopperBob a hit on my credit does not bother me. Basically your credit rating is used for big ticket items, loans or credit card applications and such. I have a house and a car and more credit cards than I need already.

I do believe they have shops in the Midwest if you are a member of the credit union at one of the largest Airforce bases there. Sorry I can't name it. Near the Great Lakes.
Their pay is lucrative.

By the way, I never look at their website. I am not sure if they have jobs there ever. They send job opportunities by email regularly. Not all jobs require an I Phone and the ones I do never seem restricted to the West Coast. However, a few might need an acct in a bank that is popular in one part of the country. Most of the ones I get notified about are national. The ones with a hard pull on your credit pay better but they often have jobs with only a soft pull. They are looking for people with low credit scores to high credit scores but often they have a disclaimer that your credit must be in "right" standing which I gather means no bankruptcies or delinquencies within a specified amt of time.
All I can say is if one day the person they are looking for who meets the specs of that job is you, then that is your lucky day.

I just experienced this!!!!! I signed up for a salon suite shop and completed it on Friday for the visit. Instructions said hold on finishing in report until I gave 24 business hours for followup from associate. Scheduler pulled shop from me this morning even though it wasn't 24 business hours. I had even messaged them previously to let them know I had completed the site visit.
Yep. There was one that emailed the shoppers in my area about an assignment and wanted to know why no one in my area was accepting these shops. I emailed her back pretty much telling her cause the pay sucks and the payout takes forever. Who wants to do an assignment for a $5 bonus and reimbursement when there are companies in our area paying huge with bonuses ($60) and reimbursement on top of that? She asked how much would it take and I gave her an amount and she never replied. I haven't accepted a shop from them in months.
