Restaurant *closed* - ACL

I have a lunch shop assigned to me from ACL - a somewhat better than average restaurant, lunch shop.

However the place is only open for dinner and has bio plans to be open for lunch anytime soon. I checked guidelines and unless I'm missing it I dont see a provision for "if the location is closed, blah blah et cetera".

Anyone had this before? I guess I just contact the MSC asap - because I don't want to be dinged for a flake or no show. But I'm positive the place is not, and will not be open for lunch. Thanks

Use the ACL chat function to let them know. Even though it is after hours, they've upgraded their system so someone will answer you by tomorrow.

If the restaurant is part of an ownership group, their HQ may or may not realize they're not open for lunch. If they don't know, they probably want to know. Another reason to tell the MS company now.
They rescheduled for me through live chat when this happened. Other than the need to make a second trip it was relatively painless.

It happens. Coyle actually let me sign up for a restaurant shop that was closed on Sundays. Luckily, I caught it right away and they changed it for me.
We shall see - I did chat. I said the location is CLOSED for lunch and I knew that via Google and calling the restaurant. LOL the chat rep TWICE asked me if I want to reschedule and the 2nd time she said "again, do you want to reschedule". She didn't get it. So I said "yes, I'm happy to do it on any date you say, but will you get them to open for lunch?".....long pause. "oh sorry for my misunderstanding". She said the account manager will decide what to do and it takes 24 hours. Well it's been more than 24 hours. If I dont' hear back I'll chat and email tomorrow. I dont want to be marked as a flake come Monday just because...I'm sorry....I'm starting to think some of these companies have an element of not seeing the ball since the kickoff.
Embarrassment of Riches I guess.

I've done "chat box" 3 times, 3 diff days. I say how location NEVER open for lunch. They say "can you do it another day"? On 3rd chat I say "Yes, I can. BUT can you be there to open the restaurant, prep the steaks, hire the bartenders, waitstaff and chefs and also, break and enter into the building so your staff can get in"? Long pause and she says 'oh I'm sorry I misunderstood, we'll need 24 hours for the account manager" - days pass. Last 2 days I show "OVERDUE" on my register and I email them saying I shouldn't be marked overdue that I've got screenshots of warning the chat-box a week ago, 3 times. NOW - they've changed it to a dinner shop on Monday. No notice, I didn't know.

OK, yes, it's a lucky thing! Lovely scale chain (my favorite for a decade before I ever did shops). So I'm not being ungrateful heck it's a nice free dinner. BUT I have school aged kids. One on meds. So there's things like homework, baths, kids dinner, etc that we do at night.

So now I gotta make sure we can do all that.

Geez I sort of think it's weird they can arbitrarily just schedule me for a date and time I never ever said yes to nor was I asked about.

I like this MSC. I'm thankful for the shop assignment but man, there's a reason I only do daytime stuff.

Ugh, fatty like me. Never thought I'd be complaining about eating winking smiley This is a first.
