The yellow ones take weeks while the blue ones, hours.

For me, it has always been a good practice to keep all receipts, photos and ensure each shop is done with a worksheet.
on all of the Presto gas station shops it says clearly that it may take a week or more for the shop to be evaluated and approved.
There is a new editor working these. She takes forever, returns more than 50% of the locations, and because of this constant churn of returning things to ask deep questions such as "What were you wearing when you entered the station" (or any other list of inane and unrelated questions). her editing time is 4-5 longer than a normal person. I"m srry, I wish you could avoid her.
Did a bunch of night time lighting audits back in January - I think almost all were approved. Just did them all again this month and half of them were returned for edits.
It took ten days for a closed yellow to be approved.

People are not chess pieces that can be manipulated through lies. The lesson is... that anyone who looks upon humanity as if it were a game of chess deserves to lose.
All of mine from last weekend were approved already and most were paid. I did 20 of them I think.
Definitely some inconsistencies.

I just did gas station 6 lighting audits and 4 site experiences, al 4 of which were at lighting audit locations.

Site experiences were accepted within 6 hours. The lighting audits took 4 days.

Ya know those 3 check boxes that you have to check to accept a shop on Presto? This is what one of those says on the gas station shops. "I understand that this project may take up to 10 days to be accepted (payment may take 7 days longer than normal)." You had to check the box to accept the job, so you SHOULD have read it and understood that fact.
Not complaining. I can wait. I think some of us are just surprised because sometimes shops are approved within minutes of being submitted, that's all. Maybe we also wonder what's going on behind the velvet curtain at the MSC, which is always a mystery to me.

Boridi - I smirk at the night lighting shops...I did a few in the most sketchy parts of a large American City, and it was downright DANGEROUS! I explained that...and how it was very, very unsafe to get out of one's vehicle, (much less stop, roll down the window and snap a photo!)...the response...crickets, then the shops were declined and unaccepted because of the angles at which I took the photos....Of course, these were done in the middle of June, when days were longest, and the sky was finally dark at 10 PM, and dawn was 5 AM.... so the wee hours of the early morning were my only option, and...well, never again!!!
I've had a few of lightining audit pending approval for over a week, I completed the usual site evaluation and it was accepted within 15 minutes. It's odd is all
Lighting audit; "This shop may take up 5 days to be accepted (payment 2 days longer than normal", but in my recent experience it has taken over 7 days. Just on a few that were nit picked and returned for better pics or different angle, lol.

The notification of the approved ones had an asterisk, *pending final approval.
Here's the breakdown of my yellow gas station for the month of Sept

I did 8 on 9/1, out of the 8, 3 were accepted on 9/2(1 day), 3 were accepted on 9/3 (2 days) and 2 were accepted on 9/4 ( 3 days0

on 9/2 I did 6, out of the 6, 1 was approved on the same day, 2 were accepted on 9/5 ( 3 days) and 3 were accepted on 9/6 ( 4 days)

i did 1 on 9/6, and was approved on 9/8 (2 days)

1 on 9/8 and 4 on 9/13, all of them are still pending reviews.

It looks like the earlier you do and submit your jobs, the earlier it will be approved, most likely because there's way less reports to audit at the very beginning
Regular blue was accepted between the time I took off my vest and went in the car and was looking at GPS for next location. I had 3 lighting declined, also deep at ghetto area, because of angles and distance. The editor wanted me to get out of the car and go closer to take the photo because there was a tree blocking partially the bulletproof kiosk. That's at an area that I have observed multiple times drug deals while I do the regular blue at 10am.

I've got 9 stops today. 5 Site Experiences, 3 of which are also among 7 Lighting stops.

We'll see how long this round takes to pay.

FWIW, some Customer Firsts on the mother site took longer than usual to be received.

Speaking of lighting shops, weren't there multiple brands last time? So far I'm seeing only one brand.
5 Site Experiences from last night were all accepted within 10 hours of submission or thereabouts. All Lighting Audits are still Awaiting Review.

Ses, BP usually only does lighting audits in the fall and spring, when it still gets dark early enough to do them without being out all night. I've seen lighting audits for Exxon twice so far this year, this is a new system they've gone to, so we have no history to fall back on.
Did 4 more light audits on Saturday, they were approved on Tuesday and paid today. Not bad. Are there different editors regionally or do they assign based on types of shops? Seems to be such a wide range of editing times for these. I am in the North East and have not really seen too much of a delay with these getting approved.
Those shops are very low pay and I feel its not worth getting hurt or worse for gas money. Ive had many close calls doing these type of shops, but the pay keeps getting lower and lower.
To be clear, mine were the red/blue nighttime lighting audits. I haven't found these to pay slowly. It's been about 5-7 days for me, which is what they stated in the guidelines. There were a few that were shorter. Overall, I like these shops and feel like the pay is pretty good. Individually, no, but as a route when you can do 2-3 shops an hour if they're close enough, I think it's pretty good pay. Even if we're talking one shop an hour, I've had worse paying jobs, certainly. As a one-off shop -- I'm likely not leaving my house to do it. As a route that I can make $100-$140 in a night, absolutely.

But, I do NOT go to bad areas. I also take my dogs with me, and leave the windows open far enough that they could potentially get out, which they might attempt if they thought I was in danger. They would certainly sound like Cujo if someone came remotely close to the car. There's probably like 30 on the other side of DC that I won't go do. First, it's further than I want to drive, but I'd consider it if they were areas I'd be willing to venture into. And, those ones *in* DC -- oh hell no. First the driving around DC is insane, and slow, even at night. Second, I'm not doing any type of "nighttime" shop in DC unless it's the casino shop.
