They do have a cancel shop function, although it is hidden. When you open up the shop form, there is a little green head in the top right corner. From there you can cancel shops.
I don't know what is worse, canceling or letting it drop off. I usually let it just drop off unless I plan to claim it again and want to get the cooloff period done sooner.

On Shopmetrics? Or Sassie? Or both? OP didn't say which platform. I've never found it on Sassie.

I clicked on shop dates on the ipsos sites just to see what was available. I inadvertently wound up assigning myself for a shop which I was not intending to do. it is set for 3 days from now. I do not want to jeopardize my standing with them- will the shop simply drop off if I do not do it? or should I try and contact someone? which has always been a real hassle.
Are they invisible? My last shop is a 10. I have been watching the "last shop" number all week. I dropped 2 in the last 7 days. I don't think that is correct. I also have no citations.@patman9760 wrote:
She replied that for every shop that falls off, an “auto flake” citation is given to the shopper. I don’t know about penalties or anything but they’re recorded in your profile.
