Ok I like Market Force. I do Market Force shops. Thus far they've been 100% no problems for me and once I needed a bit of flexibility they could've said no----but they worked with me. So again I start by saying - not ranting against this MSC --just the recent call center. In the past I've taken the call and perhaps 1in 4 calls I've taken a shop. They win, I win. But the last 2. calls the woman was overzealous about 'making notes"

1.)A bedding shop I've done before and not far from me.

'Blah blah script how are you thanks for taking the call. Blah blah 18.00 but I can do $20'

I say thanks for the call but I will pass. She asks why.

I say verbatim "I won't be in that area those days" and she very quickly says "ok so not that location I will make a note in your file so we don't ask you for this" - I said I didn't mean forever, just this time but speedy already made her note and gave scripted goodbye.

2.)A burger shop I've done before usually for $25.00 upto $42.00.

Same script and offers 20.00. I politely say I'll pass and when asked why I say "I've usually gotten from 25-42 for this one, but I understand you have budgets - no worries" - she answers "ok so double the fee I will put that in your notes.

NOW - that same mattress and same burger - I see it on website. One got taken. I never got calls. The over-zealous person just had to put notes and make it permanent.

Not that big a deal - but just passing it along - be careful what you say. I might still take calls but I'll have to figure out a way to be totally incoherent when they ask me why not. I don't want to cough and they put in my file that I've got contagious pneumonia

I am not picking up calls from MF

They must have noted never to call me long ago because it's been years since I got one. Okay with me, I wouldn't answer anyway. It's a sales call center and I detest that stuff.

BabyBooey, maybe you can send a message to the help desk asking for those notes to be removed?

Trust me the note isn't permanent. They call me every 4 days even when I say I'm on vacation and it's been "noted" in the system. They once offered $6. I said did you say $26? No, $6. I said this must be an error it's not even that low on the website??? I passed. They called me the next day with $30.

Just like when we were kids and they warned us something would go on our "permanent record."

I'd be interested to know what notes were added to the file if you want to PM me your shopper ID?

i have so many different area code calls from them, I no longer answer and wait for the caller to leave a message so I know if it is MF or not.
