Marketforce pay

I see that it says I was paid but nothing in the bank. I haven’t done shops for them in years. Why does it show on the website but not in my bank? Can anyone help?

The pay date shows to be today, and thats usually when they send it to your bank. So it will likely show up in your account tomorrow.
MF payments usually hit my bank the same day their website says I got paid. Not this month, though, as it says yesterday and my bank didn't post it until today. Of the eight pay periods this year, only half show paid on the 20th (including this month's payment), while three show the 22nd and one on the 23rd. MF is getting bad about paying 'on time.' The payment for December of 2022 was a full seven days late.
Looks like it hasn’t changed much in the few years I’ve been on a personal break from them.
I'm in Canada and I got this email yesterday. This is about the fourth time that this has happened:

what did I say... they changed the payment rules because of stuff like this. They can take an extra 30 days to pay if you aren't making them lots of money. They can even hold your pay indefinitely if you don't bring the balance owed to you over $50. It says this clearly in English in their most recent ICA agreement.
Maybe you should double check your payment method on their portal. I found they were late in changing mine. I received payment without knowing it because they used an old payment method.
Checked today, my direct depsoit is processing. Amount is over $100 though. Not sure if that makes a difference. I have my payment method still set as direct deposit.
My experience is different. I don't think I have ever received payment in the bank the same date MF indicates payment made. Usually, it hits the bank about 3 days later. Never the same day for me. I have used at least 3 different banks for MF over the years and it's always been a 2-3 day lag.
I've never had issues with being paid by MarketForce. The money I have coming each month is usually in the $20 range; they've never held it or tried to tell me I wouldn't be paid until I accumulate x amount.

Has anybody noticed that it doesn't actually say we'll be paid on the 20th but rather on the 20th business day of the following month?

"All compensation will be paid either via Direct Deposit or Paypal to an account you have specified. All payments will be disbursed no later than the 20th BUSINESS day of the following month for all “valid” reports."

I read that to mean count 20 Monday through Friday days, and that'll be the day we're to be paid. (For example, 20 business days this month would be August 28th.) Has the wording always been that way (specifying business days), or is this something new with the updated IC agreement? Just curious.
