Ipsos

I can’t get a hold of anyone at ipsos. I was doing a couple of price audit shops and have had nothing but trouble. The first one the only sales person left early and the second they said they would send me a quote the next day.

I contacted my schedule and told her and she said that it was fine to get them by email. But she didn’t get back to me until 1:30 pm so I wasn’t able to contact the second shop until the next day bc I was doing things I had scheduled previously. The other issue was that they were both taking forever to get the quotes to me. One of them even said some sort of inventory system was down.

I emailed my schedule and updated her saying they both told me the quotes would be ready by that even or the next morning. When I went to fill out my shops they were gone. I’ve emailed several times and no response. I called ipsos and they aren’t answering. The communication hasn’t been great on these shops to start with. Lots of emails missed.

I’m not sure what to do. Because at this point I’ve done the work. I just need to fill out the forms.

If you've done everything you needed, but just need to enter the report, you may just need to wait to hear back from the scheduler to get the shops assigned back to you. Since you've been in contact with the scheduler, you should be good.

I've experienced where if the scheduling is handled by mystery.shopping@ipsos.com - it can be a goose chase to track someone down. But with patience, eventually a client manager can assist.

On a separate note, from my small experience, these types of shops can be a PITA. I did a similar shop with another MSC, but the actual quote didn't meet the MSC's specifications. The issue was that this was an industry study, and the actual client did not matter. This client said that they don't offer those terms. So me being caught in the middle, I knew that this wasn't going anywhere. It's rare, but I just took the L on that and was happy to abandon ship without having to spend any further time.

Uhg, that’s so frustrating. I’ve done all I need on one shop but the other one they don’t have the EXACT configuration I was sent so I’m waiting to find out if they can send me quotes on another one that is slightly different.

I’ve been in contact with the schedule but she hasn’t confirmed receipt of my emails. She is very difficult to get a hold of. It’s frustrating.
I agree, these shops can be a total PITA. I had this happen once with a roofing shop, many years ago. Different MSC but they wanted me to get quotes on "good, better, best" shingles. One place only offered two. I explained it to the editor but wound up not getting paid. Worst part is that I had a salesman at my house and spent over an hour listening to his presentation to not get paid.

To the OP, if you are not getting responses from the scheduler, try contacting through fb messenger. I had a scenario with Ipsos that required escalating to their VP. It was an extremely frustrating experience.

Sometimes shops repost after they have dropped off a shoppers job board. Check to see if they are reposted and if you can reassign.
I recently did few with Presto app. Very easy to do with few pictures and got the pay the next day.
