White Clay made a great impression on me

I've seen many of you discuss them around here, but they never had a job close enough for me to do. Until today.

First they reviewed my report within a few hours of submission. I don't know about you, but it bothers me when I see a very tight deadline and then they don't get around to it for days. So that's already a decent start.

Second, the reviewer's feedback made me feel appreciated for the work I put in. Although a 10/10 is all I really need to see, when I make an effort for thorough narratives with exact quotes it's nice to not be taken for granted. White Clay left me feeling seen.

And the cherry on top is that I was given an unadvertised $5 bonus. I don't know if it was purely because of the report quality or if it's intended to encourage a first time shopper. Either way it was a pleasant surprise that made me glad I partnered with them.

Since it's easy and natural to talk about what MSCs do wrong, I wanted to take this opportunity to praise White Clay for a positive interaction. (And also to pre-emptively apologize in case I call them "White Claw" in the future.)

I had a positive experience with them, as well. They only have one client in my area. The shop was already paying well, but they gave me a a 33% bonus on top. However, I went into extreme detail on the report. Also, no issues with onboarding of payment and payment being delivered on time.
i always love doing shops for them when they have ones in my area. they really are a great MS company that treats their good shoppers well.
They are the best. Grest feedback and they often bonus. Wish they had more work near me.
I'm a little jealous! I've been signed up with them for 20 years and they've never had a shop in my area.
I will concur. Not much work in my area, but when I've been able to snag something the entire experience has been great.

LOVE them! They only have one client in my area, but I practically do a backflip when they reach out with the shop there. They are great communicators, have built an excellent survey report and the guidelines, gasp!, are crystal clear and accurate. Wish they had more here!
I have completed 16 shops over an 18 yr. period, with nary a problem. This under their current and a prior name.
They are fantastic to work with! They don't have a ton of work but they pay fairly, are easy to deal with, and are quick to communicate. Love them!
I had the same fabulous experience! Great review and an added bonus. They were so friendly and nice. I look forward to working for them again.
Same here..good overall experiences and received an extra bonus for good report one time.

I have done several jobs for White Clay. They do not have very many here, but they are a company I don't mind helping. I agree with everything the OP stated.

There is the truth.
Then there is the right thing to say.
I just checked my email history and realized that while I have not done much for them over the years, their feedback is fantastic. I agree with the OP.

Just signed with them and discovered that closest shop they have is 40 miles away.

I signed with them 5 days ago, based on this thread (I admittedly hadn't heard of them before) and found that the closest shop was 55 miles away. Still, the fee was good enough that it was worth applying for as part of a route. So I applied.

Waited, waited, waited. Crickets. The shop due date timed out today. No response, yes or no, nothing.

White Clay didn't make a great impression on me.
I wanted to do another shop for the same location. Unfortunately, it's a long rotation period by location. I want to say two years... sad smiley

I need to revisit. It turns out that the shop was assigned to me but I didn't know it, because no confirmation email was sent (I've gotten in the habit of expecting those).

I got an email saying it was late. I wrote back that I didn't realize I'd gotten it and that's why. I was asked if I could complete it before month's end, if so they'd reschedule. I said sure, gave them a date, and went and did it.

Uh-oh, I missed one detail. They require GeoVerify and somehow in my senility I totally missed that. I had only partially completed the questionnaire so I stopped work and sent a message through Sassie, asking if I was dead in the water; I didn't want to have to fill out the narrative sections for nothing (this shop required a few small narratives and one MASSIVE one).

I didn't get a response to that message but I got an email from the scheduler in the morning asking me to please finish the questionnaire. I answered and explained the situation. The scheduler answered that as long as I had the necessary photo uploads and gave believable detail, they could accept it without the GeoVerify this one time.

I did so and later that day got an email thanking me for a great shop and saying they'd add a bonus to my fee!

So in the end, yes, White Clay made a great impression on me, too.

(They also asked me to keep shopping with them. I would but sadly they only seem to have the one client anywhere near me, and it's not the kind of shop where I can go back next month. sad smiley )

I noticed that my system recognizes their site and emails as "suspicious". I make sure it doesn't go to spam. Thankfully, I remembered GeoVerify. I've actually gotten into the habit of using it now for another MSC too, even if the shop doesn't require it.

Schedulers and editors are top-notch.
I love working for White Clay. If you do an outstanding job, they usually give an unadvertised bonus. Usually I do mattress shops.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

The closest shop they have for me is three states away. I still keep my account active anyway, 'cause you never know.
