Sinclair Customer Metrics

I haven't done any work for them in years. Are they paying for completed shops with no issues? I'm considering doing an assignment with them but wanted to make sure everything is good first. Don't want to run into an NSS type of situation that many of us had years ago

I have been doing a grocery store with them for years. Payment has always arrived as expected with no issues. They are one of my favorite companies to work for.
I did one shop recently in June, and the check got sent on 7/22. Same for one shop completed last year. Sent on the 22nd of the next month. The check can be issued digitally where you can print and mobile deposit, or it can be mailed it to you.

Around four years ago, I did a round of shops for one client, but it came to an end.
I haven't done anything for them in a while (nothing in my area) but never had issues with payments and I regularly shopped for them for probably 8+ years.
I have done a few shops for Sinclair in the last year. I was paid on schedule.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Exactly. I love the company. Never had problems but there's nothing worth doing in my area. I have to plans for a princess party and will not do retail purchase with or without return for $10.
18 yrs. ago or so, I completed two shops for Sinclair. That was all it took for me to realize the work:pay ratio was unacceptable to me. I completed a single shop four yrs. ago when they were desperate and met my minimum fee. After paying me, I was removed from future notifications.
The last round of shops I completed for a client three years ago had a good bonus, as their program was coming to an end with a merger.

The last two shops I completed was for an entertainment client. The reimbursement was good, with a relatively simple report. However, it seems like it gets posted once every blue moon.
It's been a few years since they have had any projects I'm interested in, but I did one project and netted thousands fairly quickly. I wish that program would come back.
I made myself sick in the big OC mall, doing upper crusty yuppie foody and furniture stores. I worked in extreme pain, walking through that entire mall, both buildings, plus some others in a different OC shopping area. I was just trying to make the drive to The OC profitable. I was just starting out in mystery shopping, and between knee surgeries, so the pain was mostly unbearable. I collapsed into my old white Fusion and couldn't even push in the clutch to drive home to Riverside County. After resting a while, I managed to get the car onto the freeway, it was late, so there wasn't a ton of traffic on the 22 or the 91, and in the late evening Alessandro Blvd is more like a freeway than a street. I stayed up all night doing the paperwork, drinking water, getting sick, and in soooo much pain. All I had were some opiates that the doctor prescribed that made me have weird dreams, and thought I might not make it through the reports if I took one.

Anyway, I apparently did ALL of the shops incorrectly, and they wanted me to go back and do all of them over. And I said some unkind things, and they deactivated me. The only thing I really missed about working for them were the pizza and breadstick shops after that.
I took a look at their shops recently. I was possibly interested in a grocery shop. There's only one location near me. $6 pay and $15 reimbursement. Have to attempt an interaction in seven different departments and some other unique requirements. Too extreme for me.
Viv, me too! The payment card project?

Yes! There were several versions for this client... including buying items, just handing out/ putting signage on the door & having the card they sent you declined. I made SOOOOOOOO much $$$.

I did 2 sub shops on 7/3/24 and 7/4/24. Via there payroll dept. I was told payment should be around 8/25/24.
I have always gotten paid on time. My bank does put a hold on the printed check that they email to me. I only do one form them 3-4 times a year.
The only shops around here are shoe shops that pay $8 and reimburse $10. There is nothing to buy for the $10 that I would even want.

Yes, here it's either the shoe shops or the pizza chain with the diminutive guy from ancient Rome. That's all they have in my area. I've done the shoe shops twice when I needed shoes (one of them was bonused to $10, wheee!) and basically just considered it a coupon toward the cost of the shoes.

The pizza place has a hard-to-fill location about 30 miles from me so if the stars align that I'm doing a route around there and the pizza shop is bonused, I'll take it. It's $5 plus reimbursement at base but I've gotten them for up to $25 on bonus.
