It is odd. I've noticed the same thing about disappearing shops and tend to think there is a limit to the number that can be done of a franchise. Shops I accepted for August were posted only by zip code. The acceptance email, which is fairly immediate, reveals the address, but not always the name. The ability to view the shop details is given about a week prior to the shop date. Some of my shops still don't have a name, only a venue and an address. Of course I've used reverse address lookup, which isn't always helpful. Some addresses are registered with peoples' names and not the business.
Their method is secret squirrel stuff, I guess.
