Senior Mystery Shop / Consultants for Long Term Care / CLTC?

Hi! I've tried searching the forums but haven't been able to find anything good or bad about this MSC. Has anyone worked with them before? Thanks!

Not sure if you are asking about the MSC or their client.

I've done long term care shops before. They are decent pay for the time invested. But they do take at least an hour onsite.
As it applies to both assisted living and new home shops, my time on-site was usually an hour.
I have worked on and off for them for more than a decade. They pay timely, the jobs are extremely detailed and sometimes the client wants additional info than originally asked, so follow-up is often required. The assignments are usually multiple sites within an area. I especially like the job title of the person I worked with- Project Goddess.

Evaluating and mailing packages since 1994
Right now I cant remember exactly who posted those shops BUT I would have taken a few except for the unfortunate timing---husband & I had just toured all the local ones in real life for his mother.
I avoid them. I did a series of shops (at their request), and after submitting the report they came back with tons of questions that were nowhere in the guidelines, and we're not the types of questions usually asked on a shop. As I did my best to answer--I was surprised how much my notes helped me remember--they said it wasn't enough and wanted more. By then I had written so much it could have been a dissertation! When they accused me of being stupid for not generating enough words for them, I collected my pay and put them on my 10 foot pole list.

It could be different now, as that was years ago and there might have been managerial changes. YMMV.
Hi Susan, I'm sorry you had an experience like this with a company. You may have us - Consultants for Long Term Care "CLTC" - mixed up with a competitor, as our narratives only require 2-3 sentences each. We've been in business for 32 years and have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. I also don't see a Susan Lazarus as a current or former shopper in our database.

The fact that you've tried to out a shopper--I do not use my real name on this forum--will keep you forever on my 10-foot- pole list.

And 2-3 sentences can become 2-3 paragraphs, or even 2-3 pages, with some companies. Especially when they want info not included in guidelines.

My experience with them was similar to RobinMarie’s. I did a couple of assisted living shops in the same vicinity. Instead of an editor making nit picky demands via email they called me. There were a couple of errors which required more detail or correction. It was fine because their approach exhibits kindness and understanding with a bit of training thrown in. Their clients pays a lot for the feedback so they may need to bolster the feedback as much as possible. The pay was good and timely. They email you for any new assignments in your area. I would work for them again.

@CLTC - hi are you still doing shops in the RI/Mass area. I notice I have not gotten an email about any since last spring.
