I received an offer this morning, 06/03, from this MSC, but they are not known to me. With the number of companies changing names, it has become difficult to know who is whom. Please share any of your experiences.

I have never heard of a company called, "Campus Mystery Shopping."

I accepted a shop for 06/05; it entails exterior property pics. I decided to take the plunge, due to being a few blocks away, being permitted to select the due date and the fee of $40+. As there is not a purchase requirement, the best case scenario is the establishment of a relationship, with the worst being out some time. For me, the risk:reward ratio was favorable.

After completion, I will share my experiences. Their website states they have been in business for 25+ yrs., so this may be an opportunity for others. I know some shoppers are in a position where they are reluctant to share, but at my age it is "the more the merrier."

A final comment: I am very partial to Canadian MSCs, as I was stationed in NFLD for 2 1/2 yrs. and have never met a finer group of people.

Bob replies-The Nova Scotians certainly rate at the top. I will be brief with my reply.

I blew the engine in my 1956 Ford approx. 80 miles from North Sydney on the way to New Brunswick at 01:00 in the morning in early Nov. A farmer took my friend and I in, fed us, gave us a place to sleep and then took us to town after sun up. We rented a stall in a gas station and slept in a bed & breakfast for six days until we were able to repair the many problems.

I completed the shop and report in approx. one hour total. The narrative, by today's thinking. was extensive, BUT, measured by 15 years ago, was brief. As I was traveling in the area and within two blocks of the property, the drive time and expense were negligible.

Yesterday, while clearing my secondary external drive, I discovered I had applied to this MSC in 2006, but had never heard a peep. This brings me to that old adage, "Ya just never know."

If payment arrives as promised, I would definitely recommend this company to anyone except those averse to any narrative and/or requiring immediate payment.

I remember the name, I think from the Volition list. At the time, I believe they only had assignments in specific states - none of which were near mine - so I don’t think I signed up.

My money arrived today, 06/29. I rate the MSC as follows: Work:pay ratio, communication and time for payment all receive 5 stars and 3 thumbs up. Hopefully, it will not be another 18 yrs. until additional work exists in my area.
