RBG Payment Weirdness

Been doing stuff for this company for ages, going back to the days of the monthly thrift store audits. There's never been an issue with regular payments until now.

They have a new credit union client. The introductory round of shops are super easy and pay $25 for maybe 20 minutes tops, including filing the report.

I did 8 of them in April, with the last 3 on the 8th. Given their payment policy, I entered $200 into the May column for them in my A/R spreadsheet.

I was surprised to receive a PayPal notice of a $125 payment on April 20 as I had not done any shops for them in March.

Went into SASSIE and was surprised to find that all 8 shops were showing paid on April 20.

I emailed support and received a prompt reply, mirroring my puzzlement. Supposedly the matter was sent to accounting.

Just received a PayPal payment notification, but the amount was only for the steakhouse visit I did last month.

I'm still short $75. I've emailed my support contact, requesting the matter be resolved ASAP. If I have to wait until their next pay cycle I'm going to be pissed.

Regardless, the payment was/is short.

This client was brand new as of April. Not sure if it's the one you are referring to.

The steakhouse payment was earlier than usual. Tomorrow's the 20th, so maybe the $75 they owe me will show up when it's supposed to. That would tend to support your statement re: _separate_ payments. ;-)
