Intelli-shop auto shops

I saw these for phone shops and applied for one- seems it requires a recorded call0- up to 3 calls if you cannot get through after waiting 6 minutes on hold then a second report and something about a survey. Has anyone done one of these? Just seems like a lot of work for the pay but perhaps not- sad that you cannot read what is required before applying.

I have not done these. I enjoy phone shops because I can do them from home or even on the road if I am on a route. But, phone shops can quickly go from being easy and fast, to a nightmare if you cannot get through on the first attempt and are required to call back later. In this case, you have to wait until the next day and call at a different time. If you can't get through a second time, you must call again at a different time on the following day. Suddenly, even if the shop started out as easy, you now have 3 days being taken up by one shop that pays less than $10.00. Another thing that stands out is that there are tons of these shops. Although you can call the same place more than once, you have to block your number, which can raise a red flag, or use a different number. My experience with all center shops like these is that the reps catch on quickly. This can make it even more difficult to either a) get through as reps won't answer or b) get a clean call without the rep saying they know they are being shopped. Since the call is recorded, your outing will be on record and the shop will end up being rejected.

For me, these are a hard pass just based on what I can read.

There is the truth.
Then there is the right thing to say.
