Market Force & Presto - on the plus side

Ok, I have experienced wonkiness on the part of both the MF and Presto systems...but I have to say, speaking for myself, I far prefer working for those platforms over the others....

Pros:
(1) MF allows you to reschedule if that date gets close and you need to change it - for whatever reason - no worrying about the whims of getting permanently canceled out by a scheduler masquerading as
an emperor (thank god not many of them)...
(2) Presto - if something happens on an insta shop and you don't make it - it simply falls off after X number of hours, no nasty repercussions.
(3) No hassles of applying, then waiting or being ignored - it's just easy, no hassle, no human interaction required
(4) Editing? what editing? you just answer the questions - the system does not advance until you do - no worry about one getting kicked back to you later.
(5) Presto, I find out quickly if my report was accepted and I get paid QUICKLY - no worry about having to follow up.

Cons - very rarely wonky and have to send an email question

Now, I realize these formats probably don't work in shops with a lot of narrative required...I've done shops with a lot of narrative. I am good at them - but they have not been good to me much of the time....compensation turned out not be worth it to me - or maybe I wasn't fortunate enough to get bonused enough, bad timing or whatever.

I kinda like these hit and run, no fuss, NO DRAMA shops. Woe to those MSCs still stuck in the last century.

Even if you only use the available dates using their reschedule feature? makes me wonder why they would offer it, if they intend for it to be punitive?

A reschedule is a reschedule, whether it's done by you or a scheduler. Just like with any other MSC, they expect you to perform the shop on the day you select. The feature is nice, but overuse will catch up to you.

There is editing with Presto..... I've had gas station shops returned asking for a different photo, clarification, etc.
The only time I've had trouble with MF rescheduling is if I've already rescheduled something 3 times (the limit) and asked for it to be rescheduled again. Then you get a snarky answer from the help desk or they ignore you, or tell you to cancel the job with an explanation. Which I have always done. When I've had to cancel a job for any reason I don't click their pre-set answers, I give an explanation of why I won't make it. I don't believe I've ever been penalized for doing this. And for the record, when the circumstances were beyond my control, like a severe weather event, the help desk rescheduled it for me.
Very little experience with Presto, but I started out on Market Force. Did a ton of shops with MF and as you said, super easy and simple. It wasn't until I started branching out to other mystery shopping companies that I took MF for granted. Also, I was spoiled with the tolls reimbursement when they did reimburse for it.

But I do enjoy the long narratives and time-intensive projects, given the right circumstances, payment, and reward.
