Question about IPSOS scheduling shops

There are times when I will see two shops for IPSOS in the same area. One for a burger, another for a cell phone shop. I'll get the burger shop, but when I go to get the cell phone shop, everyday of the week is open, except the day for the burger shop. If the burger shop is on Wednesday, you're blocked from getting the cell phone shop on the same day. You can get the shop any other day, except for Wednesday.

Has this happened to anyone else? It seems someone at IPSOS does not want you building a route.

Schedule the phone shop for the next day, and just complete it a day early. Unless there is a black out day, make sure you check that. But the phone shops will have a range of dates you can complete them. So, lets say you schedule for 4/15, when you look at the report it should show that the shop needs to be completed between 4/8-4/15. Those dates a hypothetical, but the phone shops are never nailed down to just on specific date like the burger shops might be. I think I posted a long list of examples on both platforms for you last month with a similar question you had, in case you want to refer to that.

But the ONLY date greyed out is the date of the burger shop. You cannot pick the same day as the burger shop.
What Cassie is saying is, schedule the phone shop for the day after your burger shop. Then do the phone shop on the same day as your burger shop.

Apparently shes saying it's possible.

On the cell phone shop you have to show the GPS, showing the date and time you did the shop. The date of the burger shop is greyed out, so you're not allowed that day.
Listen closely.

Once you accept the cell phone shop for the day AFTER the greyed out date, do it on the date of the burger shop. Cassie is saying that the cell phone shop needs to be done between day 1 and day 15, or whatever. Just select a date in that time period and do it on the same day as your burger shop.

The date has NO effect on the GPS coordinate as they are not going to move the cell phone shops location. It's a geographic thing, longitude and latitude. It just proves you are at the specific point on planet earth that the cell phone shop is at.
The date for the cell phone is only greyed out as a day to pick. It doesn't mean you can't do it that day if you have a date range. Accept it for the day after, read the guidelines and verify it's a date range.

The only thing I can think is there's multiple shops for the same location and someone else is doing the cell phone shop the day you want it.

I dont think Ipsos does multiple shops at one location, I might be wrong. Have you asked the scheduler of your burger shop if you can change the date back or forward a day when the cell shop appears available.?

Have you asked the burger shop scheduler if they can help you get the cell phone shop on the same day?

Asking us can't fix it, but your scheduler might be able to.

I thought you got banned from the cell phone shops? Maybe thats the issue?

I was only banned from the $16 shops, not the $12 shops.
I don't do the cell phone shops, but I'm 99 percent sure the greyed out dates on the burger shops meansanother shopper is scheuled for that day, and they don't want two shops on the same day.
I dont think it is about getting a route because I get tons of then with the same company. Their goal is to get the jobs done for the client.
If you really want to check this out you can do a test.
Step one: check the dates available for the cell phone shop by applying for one and looking as far as the calendar that pops up for you to choose a date but do not apply.
Step two: go back and apply for the burger shop for one of the dates that is available on the cell phone calendar.
Step three : immediately after being accepted by the burger shop go back and hit apply for the cell phone shop and see if the date that was available a few minutes before is still available.
wrosie--we should NOT have to resort to translucent manipulations in order to simply make our meager lives marginally more efficient...it has NO impact on Ipsos or their client...they (Ipsos) are just being bitchy.
