Nope, but I did get a snarky email response from one of their schedulers today! I'll take that as second prize to the vest.
They sent some out last year. I get that you are kidding about wearing it on a mystery shop while under cover. I would never wear mine on a reveallaed shop either, so as to not recruit competition like KA says.
Mine came yesterday. As much as i need a new vest, i cannot see wearing it and being a walking billboard to recruit more people to keep prices low.

There is the truth.
Then there is the right thing to say.

how do i get one

Ha! Several answers came to mind immediately. All were NSFW so I'll let the more tactful shoppers field it...

Are you saying this is a logo vest?

There is a big i shop for IPSOS logo on the back of it.

I got a t shirt from Beyond Hello many years ago. I have not worn it even tho i think it was for some other company with the same name. Picked it up at a booth at some sort of community fair. Now that Beyond Hello is gone for a long time I guess I can start wearing it.
Yeh, I got a promo package last year, including an imprinted vest. Can't remember what happened to it. I'm waiting for the glow in the dark propeller beanie.

I've said this before, the NDA is more about the data you collect, NOT who you shop for. They don't want you sharing your data with other MSC's

I think it would be better if they put a graphic of Fred's big old head on the back.

What the hell does that have to do with this thread?

The comments were about creating competition for shops with people who see "I shop for Ipsos whoopee!!" on the back of a vest and decide to see what it's all about. If you don't think you already face enough competition amongst shoppers for jobs, keep wearing that vest. All you're doing is recruiting (for free) for Ipsos and increasing the shopper pool (i.e., your competition) in your own area.

There is enough competition, no need to generate more. I was doing a gas station recently and after the employee told an inquisitive customer what I was doing there, she proclaimed loudly "I want that job.!" Not sure what I did to make it look glamorous, but she had no clue what I was making. Imagine if I had made it easier for her and worn that dopey vest. I was doing a route and that station made it worthwhile. If that shop was not available, I am not sure I would've done the route.

Yes, she can probably find the info with an internet search, but I am not about to give anyone the phone number or contact email.

I remember a thread a while back about people hating the MSC's name on the LOA. I am not a fan of that either. Some pointed out that what if the clerk was looking for another gig and we as shoppers just gave them a big head's up.

I didn't get a vest and I'm cool with it. What is the criteria for getting one?
I used to get asked every once in a while if my company was hiring or how they could do the work, mostly by the clerks. At first I would try to deflect and just say look it up online. Now I let them know they have to travel for hundreds of miles or more and have to pay for their own gas and car and hotels and sometimes there is no work for weeks, and that usually dampens their interest. Or I just say no, they don't need anyone, depending on the circumstances. I get asked less now than I used to. Not sure why.
Speaking of vests, do any of you route shoppers just leave the thing on all day? The thought occured to me over the coldest months when it was extremely cumbersome to repeatedly get it on and off over already bulky outerwear. Then I started looking around and realized that there are many normal gas station patrons wearing hi-vis garb as part of their own workwear so it wouldn't really stand out pre-reveal. But I'm a little afraid to test the waters, since we're instructed to follow a particular shop flow. Sure would simplify things, though. What do you guys think?
I see them everywhere. Rural, urban, suburbs -- it doesn't matter. I've thought about it, but still stick to the shop flow. Honestly, my main concern are the clerks familiar with the program who might have their memory jogged and ask about the rewards. Then I would be stuck with the extra work of giving out the certificate.

I just tell them that they are not eligible as they are/were an employee in the industry.
If it's a customer, and they really keep talking about it, I give them the name of an MSC I don't ever do shops with, and one that pays very low as to deflate interest.
