I have only seen them with the large company Cassie mentioned and certain requirements like age 50+ and some of them I think you have to be an AARP member.
I would do these due to genetic hearing loss in my family but I don't meet the age req.
Keep in mind that no matter what the rotation---if the hearing aid shops are all for the same company at different locations (they are in my area) a computer database will tip off every location when you had your ears tested last.
This could be a once and done shop for you.
I think awhile back HS Brands had them in that warehouse club that sells small gold bars and cheap pizza and hot dogs at it's concession.
For people who want to do a hearing aid shop because they want a hearing test, Costco members get free hearing tests.
I performed two of them. Not hard but you have to find out information so there are questions to memorize and know. I think they are done. You could do one per chain, two total.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

If doing these at Costco, you likely need your letter of authorization at the door. Due to shoplifting and abuse of self checkouts by non members with member cards, security is checking for identification at the front entrance. Hopefully security will not tip off the hearing aid staff of your visit, but that did happen to me years back when doing a corporate cafeteria shop.
You can say you are going to the Pharmacy. Or go in the exit, if questioned, say you are going to inquire about a membership.
