Is VeriTes back?

I haven't seen my scheduler for over a year then out of the blue I got an email. Has anyone been getting sporadic work from them? I thought they were long gone

Very sporadic----once or twice a year for jobs more involved than trailer checks.

@Rho* I got the email from my scheduler. I've done 1,000s of those types of assignments. I just didn't have any offers/communication from her since May of 2022. So thought the company went under. None of the offers were in my area, I was curious just how much work they got since it felt like a ghost contacted me.

We did something for VeriTes a couple months ago. It was good hearing from my scheduler. She said she has a regular job now and hasn't had anything to schedule in a long time.

@Morledzep Thanks! I asked my scheduler and she didn't want to say much. I was so shocked, I thought I saw a ghost, then I thought the account was hacked. But after reading the emails, it read just like the old days. I tried being friendly, and I was so excited to see her again. But all I got in response was just watch the inbox for more emails. So I came here and figured everyone here has always been so helpful with any questions. I thought they had all moved on with other work since I had not even gotten offers for theaters out of my area for almost 2 years.

A little over a year ago my scheduler and I had words. She kept threatening not to give me anymore work if I flaked. But I only missed jobs maybe twice in all the years I worked with her. And I told her that I wouldn't work for her anymore if she is going to threaten me. So she stopped sending work to me. I never expected to hear from her again until the Barbie movie came out and she needed someone she could rely on. So she knew she was wrong back then, but I just agreed to do the work and took their money rather than be petty..

@Morledzep I had no idea they had Barbie. The locations offered in my email for this weekend were for theater chains I had never heard of in my life. My scheduler may have not liked my questions before when VeriTes started struggling. I straight up asked. If they were still around, and it went unanswered. There was never a bad experience, I just saw it as she didn't like me asking, and having to answer. But I don't know.
