Confusing Instructions for Intouch Insight (formerly SeeLevel)

I was looking at this ATV shop and didn't understand this part of it. This is not in the guidelines but in the description of the shop on the job board.

"You must print out the shop and provide a handwritten copy with our initials. It is a requirement of the shop. "

How do I get their initials on the printed shop and why do I have to print it if I have to provide a handwritten copy?

I e-mailed the scheduler, I'll let you know what the response is. The shop pays $50 and says I should be onsite about 30 minutes.

So the first response I got was:
"It is a security issue, the initials are on the printout"

My response was:
"Jen,
So once I print it out with the initials, what does it mean I need to provide a hand written copy?"

Response:
"That just means you cant show it on your screen, you must have paper printout"

My response was:

"Jen,

So, this is a revealed audit of the location not a mystery shop? I print out the shop with the initials on it, give it to the person at the store. Is it before or after I try to determine what ATVs they recommend? After I give him the printed shop with the initials on it, does he sign it and give it back or do we fill it out together and he gives it back to me to upload?

The job description is very confusing now."
I think Jen is a new scheduler.

Response:
"You give them nothing, it is entirely mystery shop. You print out the guidelines and initial that you have read them"

My response:
"Then instead of saying, "You must print out the shop and provide a handwritten copy with our initials" you should say "print out the guidelines and initial them to state that you have read them. Then upload the guidelines with your initials on them". "Our initials" have nothing to do with what's happening. It should be "your initials" if anything.

Then continue on with the mystery shop."

Am I being difficult? Or am I just asking for clarification before I accept a shop? Or am I helping a possible new scheduler learn how to better present shops in the future?

Blast me if I'm wrong, not seeing it or whatever. I'm just trying to understand what is required before I accept a $50 shop.
No, you're not wrong, but she could label you as being "difficult" and send your behind packing.

If your path dictates you walk through hell, do it as though you own the place. -unknown
Like I said I really think Jen is a new scheduler.

I would have to rent a car to do the shop and it would kind of fit into a route (total 20 minute out of the way drive, plus shop and report time for $50. My experience is I would spend 15 minutes in the store. So an hour at $50 pay)

Her last response was:

"It is your initials on the paper, what day can you visit?"

My response:

"I understand it's my initials on the paper. But the way you have the job description it appears I need someone else's initials on the guidelines I print out. Am I then supposed to upload the signed guidelines somewhere before I can accept the shop.

I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to do. I'll work with you but I will need to rent a car to do the shop. Can you provide me with the guidelines?"
Last reply:

"Once you select your date you will be able to print the guidelines, the printouts you will enter in your report your day of visit"

I think I'll pass for now and see if it doesn't get bonused. I've also reached out to another scheduler to see if she can help.
How much time have you already wasted thinking about this shop? I might dismiss shops too quickly, but I'm not interested in figuring things out for the MSC unless I'm dying to get paid to do something I really want to do. Most of these shops are NOT what i really want to be doing. I pick the ones that pay me enough or that I like their food enough that the pay does not have to be tremendous.
Right now, I see why the shop is sitting there. I would never accept it as it stands. But if I can assist a new scheduler at a company that I like doing shops for, I feel it is time spent paying it forward.

Perhaps somewhere down the road I'll need a favor from them. And tonight I'm not doing much or anything, so why not?

Most of the ATV shops I've done for this MSC have been profitable and don't take more than 10-15 minutes in the store. Would you do a shop that fits in a route and takes less than an hour for $50 all in? I usually will.,
