The shops are back. I just got four more, including two closed locations (which sadly only pay $5 but I'll be nearby).
And just like that, they're gone.
Maybe look around midnight, that's when I did. I'm at the point now where I've taken most of the shops I actually want to do, although I did stop at a fancy Italian gourmet deli today, and they have $8 containers of gelato, so that's next on my list. Most of the stuff they sell is by the pound, and the sandwiches are $18, so I've avoided taking the shop. But they gave me a taste of the gelato and it was quite tasty.@bradkcrew wrote:
I didn't catch them, but thanks for posting as I was wondering if they were gone for the month. I will keep an eye out.

Maybe it's a yearly thing? Maybe the client accumulates complaints about charges until they've got a good batch of them to hand over to the MSC?
There are many shops that get pulled after a certain number get taken. I think it's a combination of your two pieces. It's not like they're sending you anywhere you want, so they have specific businesses they want done. Maybe they're only paying for a certain number of shops, and post more than that so they don't have to start adding bonuses to get all of them filled.@bradkcrew wrote:
Must be they are interested in getting a number of shops done, rather than focusing on specific businesses.
I heard back from them (I emailed their generic mysteryshopping address) and was given these instructions@CorrieCJ wrote:
@MisterBill I just got help on a payment issue from Kimberly.Reuben@ipsos.com. Give her a try. It was kind of an odd procedure but it worked very quickly and my corrected payment was approved right away.

Click filter and enter the code 38efgn. Make sure all other filters are removed
Click the magnifying glass and enter the city Parsippany
One pin will appear that can be clicked. Enter the info about missing compensation and submit.
Mine was approved the same day, and I was paid today.@CorrieCJ wrote:

Yes, that's how I did it as well. Was not sure if those instructions applied to all shops or if there were different ones for different batches. Fingers crossed we get paid!
Yeah, but not many and they only give you 24 hours to submit.@sestrahelena wrote:
I see some!
There didn't seem to be very many this time. And only available to submit for 24 hours. Fortunately (for me) there wasn't anything I was interested in this time, anyway.@Morledzep wrote:
and *poof* they're gone again.. I wish they would either post them or not, I'm tired of playing.
Gift cards. I bought two $15 gift cards (minimum they'd let me buy/charge) at one that my wife uses. With the fee I got $30 so it was totally covered. She can use them to pay for most of a mani-pedi.@nellybean212 wrote:
I would NEVER do a nail salon. Can you imagine? What do they even have to sell?
I had to search on $14 to find them this past round.@sestrahelena wrote:
Before, at least on the laptop, you could use the filter function to see only, "Small business" and move the map around the country to find them but now they are listed by the different store names so you can't.
To each their own. No one seemed to think that it was weird that I was making two separate purchases for the same item. Or if they did, they didn't care since I was still buying stuff.@CoolMusic wrote:
Presto! can be a 10-ft pole + >$2 or cash out of hand + totally unnatural consumer behavior required for the evaluation = 100-ft pole
To be honest, insisting on a receipt was stranger to them than the two transactions, even at the nail salon.@salisburync wrote:
I got both of these types of reactions when I did these shops...often they didn't care; often they gave me a very weird look!
