Internet spotty all day today across the US

...and of course, the good folks at IPSOS could care LESS! Not even a whisper of a peep in response to my urgent emails.....c'est la vie, as the say in Frogland.

I've seen several outage maps that AT&T posted showing where they are having trouble. It's not localized at all, most cities of any size were at least partially affected. I know a LOT of rural folks around here lost their service for all or part of the last 48 hours.

But we know that Ipsos doesn't give a damn, we're supposed to find a way to do the reports no matter what.

A few years ago I got mad after over 12 hours of trying to report a single shop. I tried several times, and gave up when it wouldn't work, then I would drive to a different city, and try again several times, I came home only to find that we had no service here either, so I went looking for wifi signals to use. The Walmart in town wasn't working so I went to the next larger city North of us and tried to use Lowe's wifi. I finally wrote the scheduler a nasty letter and refused to even try to complete it. It wasn't my fault, Verizon had a HUGE regional outage, and wifi isn't available where I live. The last try was sitting in front of a Lowe's at midnight using their wifi, and Ipsos website dropped me twice while I was there. So I just went home (another 40 minute drive).
Software deployment failure. A move by AT&T from 5G to "5G Advanced" was reportedly the culprit. They have since removed the "update."

(I'm convinced that software will be the root cause of civilizations demise)
