Elite CXS.... ongoing non-payment issue!!!!

They owe me $50 for a December 11th shop. Per their pay policy, it should have been paid 2nd half of January. So now it is TWO pay periods overdue! I have literally emailed and called the CEO, Susan in Accounting, Amy, and scheduler Marguerite with NO response from anyone for TWO weeks! Unbelievable.... no way this company is solvent. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau last week too, not that they are even accredited. Noteworthy that Elite CXS has other payment complaints logged with BBB. STAY AWAY!!!!!!! It's bad enough not to pay your shoppers, but when no one returns calls and emails, that is even sketchier.
Update:
I'm filed a complaint with the FL State Attorney general's office last week and was finally paid today, 2/26 ( 2 pay periods LATE) with no comment, response or explanation from anyone at Elite CXS. Doing that was the only way I finally got paid last year when Satisfaction Services was about to go belly up. And we all know how they ended up....

Maybe I need to file a complaint with the FL State Attorney General's office too. They owe me about $150 from Sept.
Def go on their Facebook page and leave a comment. Amazing they are still looking for clients. So unscrupulous. Please file a complaint with BBB too!
I noticed they are now hiding all the comments on their FB posts. These folks are the definition of shady!
As is known, many MSCs have chosen to rename their company. By so doing, they incur an expense and lose identity. If that is the case with Elite, please share the prior name.
I did. TWICE. No reply. Disappointing, as I used to like her as a scheduler at other MSCs.

The last three shops (3/23, 10/23, and 1/24) I did for them were eventually paid . . . but not until I contacted them weeks/months after the payment was expected. I think I'll be taking a break until I hear they get their accounting issues worked out.

Shopper64, I missed your query until today. The name Marguerite Turner is definitely familiar, but I do not recall from where or when. As I am now in yr. 22 of shopping, it could have easily been 15 yrs. in the past.

I am not a conspiracy believer, but with MSCs accepting the cost and loss of their identity by changing their name and employing CX in the title, I am cautious. If I have disassociated myself from an MSC in the past, and inline with the old adage concerning a leopard not changing its spots, I pass on reestablishing relationships.
I was told that the District Attorney won't help and glad it worked for you. With us being self-employed, you can go through the Labor Commission and get your money. The Labor Commission is an entirely different ball game. I haven't tired it because I haven't had to yet, so don't take my word for it. I was just told by someone that would know. It won't hurt to try. If it works, let us know.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

It may be different in the state that you live in, but in NJ, PA, NY, MD, and NJ the Department of Labor (titles vary slightly among those states) will not be of any use since we are contractors, not employees.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
Thank you for all of your input. I did one shop that they have accepted and it is only for $15. I was thinking of doing a restaurant where the reimbursement is $270 but will think twice before accepting it because of all the negative comments.
I haven’t been paid for the shop completed in January. Any recommendations on how to proceed? I’m in California
Politely contacting accounting@elitecxs.com resulted in my January payment being released within a few days.

Thank you!
Received automated response after sending inquiry to the accounting email today. I had submitted to the M Turner email last week and she responded that she would forward to accounting. This is for a mid December shop.
Thank you for contacting the accounting department at Elite CXS. Due to the recent switchover with our payment processor, we are receiving a higher-than-normal volume of emails and calls at this time. Your email is important to us, and we will respond to your inquiry within 3-5 business days. If you are inquiring about a missing payment, rest assured we are working diligently to identify all payments that were mishandled and failed during the switchover period. These will be corrected, once identified, and payments will be reissued.

Thank you,
The Elite CXS accounting team.
Just found out my friend who shops is also affected by this. What a shame. Even worse for people who made big purchases expecting to get reimbursed. I hope it gets resolved!

Are you based in FL or are they based in FL? Just wondering because I think my friend might need to do the same. Thank you.
Update after contacting accounting and receiving generic email response a few days later I received an invitation to sign up for Tipalti for Elite CXS. Today I received all payments missing December, NOvember and October of 2023.
Emailling also worked for me. I emailed the scheduler and it was forwarded to accounts. They switched their payments to Tipalti in 2022 and I had never registered as I hadn't been working for them at that time. When I queried my pay, they tried to pay me and couldn't so sent me a link to sign up for Tipalti. It took a few weeks all together but I got all that was owed.
I wanted to update and share that my friend did get paid for the shops that were owed. It took emailing the schedulers and also accounting. It wasn't instant but it did finally arrive.
Thanks for starting this post. I registered during summer of last year did two shops with them for large reimbursement amounts during the fall. I assumed payment was done through PayPal. I was not aware of their payment provider. There is no clear mention of it anywhere and how to sign up.

Currently, in an email thread with Accounting. It takes them a week to reply. They either send me:
1) Expired links
2) Emails saying they resent the links (but no link actually sent to inbox or spam)

So frustrating. I might just have to put up with this incompetence for the next couple of weeks, and then ultimately file a claim.

... And oh yeah, they just sent an email about registering for Shopperfest 2024 in Orlando with their discount code to meet the Elite CXS team. Wanted to click the Spam button right then and there, but needed to keep the line of communication open for now.
