RQA 1099s

Just a heads up for everyone that spent thousands in 2023 when retrieving dog food, death chips, and chocolate for RQA. I got an email from RQA featuring details about the 1099 that they are about to send you:

" If you receive more than $600 in total professional fees and expense reimbursements during the calendar year, we are required to send you a 1099 NEC Statement showing TOTAL compensation. This total includes individual professional fees as well as product purchase, material expense, shipping expense and miscellaneous expense."

Plan accordingly.

So how does the IRS see that? And they pay for mileage reimbursement but not the full IRS rate so how on earth do I split that up? Why they have to be so complicated?
