Just as a reminder for any 1099s that are mailed: legally, they have to be *in the mail* by January 31st, not *received* by January 31st. This is why some don't arrive until February.
I've received mailed 1099s from Customer Impact and IntelliShop.
In the statements and taxes/Tax documents section of PayPal, there are three years available - 2021, 2022, and 2023. Each one of them says, "Less paperwork for you. You don’t have any tax document on PayPal yet." To my knowledge, I've never received any kind of tax documents (digital or paper) via PayPal.
If it helps, I'm in Texas, not one of the handful of states that have been previously discussed as exceptions to the reporting thresholds. Companies that pay me via PayPal include Ipsos, Pinnacle, IntelliShop, Confero, The Consumer Insight, and others.
