Goodwin

I was owed for several shops by Goodwin. I waited until 90 days, then requested payment. They paid me right away after requesting payment and were apologetic about the delay.

Yes, the same for me. They apologized and within 24 hours it was in my paypal.
So glad I read this. I got approved by them today. I haven't scheduled a shop, and thanks to y'all, I won't. Thanks.

They always seem to need a reminder. I think payroll is to fault, I wrote Amy and she got on their case, I was paid immediately (paypal) along with an apology.

Live consciously....
I just emailed Amy to request payment and it bounced back to me immediately as a bad address. Anyone know if she is still working there or have a better contact email? I'm hoping to get payment before the end of the year....
I did a shop for them the first week of August. Got my payment today, which is December the 22nd. I am accustomed to 60 days max from most companies that I shop with, but 4 months! No more for me.
I got my pmt yest. for Aug. too and it was short and now I have to wait for the difference.........
Has anyone ever been paid, without prompting and on time from this company?

This is the email I was given for their payroll department:
payment@mysteryshopperprogram.com
No sarcasm intended, but if you eventually get burned by this company when they fold, I warned you. They simply don't have the cash flow to pay shoppers in a timely manner.

Believe it or not, I have always been paid in a timely manner... about six weeks which is normal. However, I have not completed an assignment for them in over 6 months (maybe payroll has gone downhill since that time).
Now I am wondering if they are losing accounts (as I rarely see any of the businesses that I shopped).
I don't think its necessarily a cash flow problem, its more of a "maybe they'll forget until they call and then we'll pay right away". However I know if I miss a payment anywhere my phone rings in 48 hours after the due date.
With no prompting, Goodwin took 4 and 1/2 months to pay me for August and September (just got paid).

How's that ? lol...
About a year ago, I performed a shop for them and a week after I send the report, they e-mailed me stating that I was "spotted as secret shopper" and that they will not pay me. After I checked all documents, I called them and mention that there is no place written that the shopper will not get paid if they spot you. Nobody spotted me and if they did, why would they wait a week to bring this up? I got paid after speaking with different people including upper management but I would not work for them ever.

I have done several shops for them. I have NEVER been paid without waiting 90+ days and then begging for payment. Never.

OoooOooooooooooo

I still think the MSC sometimes will wait until it gets paid by the business, before paying the mystery shopper, just in case there is a problem with the report. Why would a business want an inaccurate or "not what was expected" report?
Still amazes me to no end that people are still shopping for them despite all their overly negative postings here and on the V-GOD site.
Volition.com is the V-GOD site and that name came about for two reasons: The webmaster did not want the name of his site posted here, he told me in all seriousness that he is GOD...
I just received a PayPal payment today (December 28th) for my two October shops performed on the 6th and 11th. That is 78 days and 83 days respectively. I knew about the 90-day payment policy when I accepted the shops. One was for a yogurt shop and I had a craving for yogurt and I was going to be doing two other shops in the same town so it was worth it for me. Yummy!

I LOVE their Blueberry Yogurt! I have done five of those "Yogurt" shops even though I know it will be a long time before I get paid...lol...

Got my short payment after forwarding them the emails detailing the bonuses which I kept just in case. Now that I am fully paid, I am done. After I inquired on the 90 day mark, it took over a month of following up before I was finally paid. Too much work and too many emails chasing down payment, during that time I cancelled some shops too and told the scheduler that that was the reason and she said she could not help me as she has nothing to do with accounting. I wish some of their clients would change MSCs since I do like them and they have a good amount in my area. sigh.........
They have some great restaurants in my area, (NJ), but I rarely work for them due to the payment time. I told them that once when they called to ask about a shop. The reply was, "Okay." They are very nice folks, if I remember, but I don't like to wait that long for reimburesement.

I asked about a payment and I was ignored. As it was already more than 120 days, I inquired again, then I wrote them and asked for explanation. I threatened to go to the BBB. I suddenly received a check. I never did any shop for them after that.
risinghorizon ~ On your first attempt, was it by phone or e-mail? I haven't had to ask for payment very often but I always put it in writing/e-mail so I have a physical record. And I start off with a nice and professional e-mail. So far, I have had positive results with this method. (It even worked on HDE/Hilli Dunlap Enterprises...look them up to follow that thread.) Not threats to the BBB yet for me. :-)

I like two of the Goodwin shops because they offer me a chance to get a reimbursed meal and/or treat with healthier options. I don't do the typical FF or sticky buns shops.

I contacted them only by email but my contact referred me to somebody in charge of payroll, and she ignored me. I never call unless absolutely necessary. They owed me quite a lot as I did a number of them and there was cash outlay. But my policy is not to deal with any company who does not show me respect. The lady could have given some explanation. Shops that have to be reimbursed should not be paid more than 60 days. At that time, Canadian
$ was higher and the reimbursement was in US$ so they had my money for a while and I received less than I spent.
