I always assumed they would do nothing. I think it's meant to reassure management that there is not a massive number of people seeing more than one show. One movie shop requires that the shopper count heads. The MSC cautions to be very accurate because the number given by the shopper is compared with the number of tickets sold. Don't know what they would do if there was a difference ....I worried would it be the shop from hell, where I counted 47 and only 45 tickets were sold, would they dispute it? But so far either my numbers have matched or it had nothing to do with paying me for the shop.
