ISPOS

Can anyone give me feedback on ISPOS? I have been MSing for 11 years and this has never happened. I just joined their company and signed up for a shop for them. After I received the assignment I called to verify the hours they were opened. The number had been disconnected and there is no listing in the phone book. I email my scheduler and she responded that she just cancelled the shop with no explanation. Is this company legit?

I have heard good reports of them in the past. I too picked up one of this current round of shops with them and about gagged at the instructions for a $12 job. Then followed a series of emails that basically modified the shop to adequately be able to pull it off with some degree of adequacy with a cover story. The address of my location was wrong. I emailed and got a go ahead quickly. I'm surprised and disappointed that they did a straight cancellation on you because you do deserve at least a little something for a phone call and follow through.

Based on the chaos of this shop, I don't see myself doing much more for them unless they turn out to be paying really, really quickly.
I had a bit of a problem with one of my shops in this offering. I sent the scheduler 2 email and never got an answer so I just did what I thought was right. If I get any grief about it, I have copies of MY email to back me up.
Yes. ISPOS is a reputable MSP. The issue must have been with the client. Shoppers are usually advised to call the location/client before driving to the shop. Nowadays, businesses close, sometimes without notice.
Thanks all! This forum is GREAT! Wish I would have found it YEARS ago! I have two other shops for them this Mon. so now I'll look forward to completing them!
I was also emailed this new round of shops, but they cancelled a few shops I had signed up for, and the info., compared to the 12.00 fee turned me off. Since they didn't seem to know which shops would be open, I didn't sign for anymore. I had another problem, as the scheduler said not to worry about answering all questions, some items won't be there, but the instructions said, you MUST answer all questions or report won't submit. I hope it works out for you.

Live consciously....
I couldnt even figure out how to sign up with them when their site was on my list of MS companies. What is the link....or from these posts, maybe I should just write them off.
I just saw this morning they paid (listed as will be paid) me for the shop that was for the business that was closed. I think they're OK.
I picked 6 locations; all quite near my home or an area in which I had business. 1 though, was a wrong address by 16 mls., always answered with a recording and didn't have the sound of a business. As to the other 5, all went well and were very easy; both the scheduler and IPSOS contact person replied quickly and were assistive. I'd definitely sign-up for more of these shops.
Are you talking about the payment card shops? Are they easy?

I found mine extraordinarily easy with a little pre-planning. Unfortunately when I looked at the board for more, they were all gone in my shopper area. But since this was my first shop for IPSOS, I wanted to test the waters before taking on a boatload. Maybe there will be a next time.

I note that after a few days my shop is showing "Completed" just as it did when it was submitted, so I don't know if they score shops so that we know how we did, but it has not moved into "Received" status yet, which would indicate it had been accepted.
Not this round of shops, but prior, my Ipsos shops went from Completed to Received status within two weeks. No rating or comments. I was paid in slightly less than a month, via PayPal.
Sounds reasonable. They seemed to be up to their eyeballs in locations to schedule (and still seem to have a lot to get scheduled) so I suspect it will take a while for everything to get edited and accepted.
A had an issue with this shop too. I went to do the shop and it was a private house on a residential street. Of course, I didn't walk up to the front door and ring the doorbell. I emailed the scheduler and she told me to do it as a phone shop.

I had a couple of those this month and the scheduler was really nice about it. My only problem was that the form kept asking for a photo of the place so I sent a Google Earth shot of the aerial for the house, never heard anything more.
