I enjoy working for them, too. Some of their shops enable me to be paid more than $30 to visit one store if I shop three departments in it, plus be reimbursed up to $2 each per shop. Sometimes I feel like I stand out, going back through the checkout and back into the store each time since the shops have to have separate receipts and not overlap in time, but hey. smiling smiley They pay on time and their schedulers are good to work with.

Changes? I can think of a few that could get some positive attention.

How about not requiring invoices to be printed out, then scanned and emailed, separate from the report? How about a job board? Or, shops that are not seemingly arbitrarily assigned?
I never print out my invoices anymore. I save them, type in my name and send them in along with my receipts. Granted it would be easier to upload them to a report, but other companies have the same set up so it's not a big deal for me.

Most of the regular jobs they have in my area are not things I want to do anymore. Purchase/returns are low on my list and I did so many in the beginning my name has to be in their computers somewhere. On the other hand, whenever they have any type of special project I've found them to fun, interesting and extremely well-paying. I've also had the opportunity to work with Marti and found her to be responsive, helpful and a heck of a lot of fun!

Mert, thank you for the input on some improvements you see would be beneficial. We are always striving to keep our system up to date and as smooth of a process for our Field Reps as possible.
Lisa, thank you for the suggestions regarding the invoices and for the nice comment as well!
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead! Enjoy your evening...

There is wisdom in your comments. Way to often people do not read directions, or follow them. They are asked to take a picture of the sink, they get the toilet, they do it on the wrong day, the wrong time or the wrong place, they !"mail"! it in when asked to fax or scan it in. They do not complete online questionaires because they did not read the directions. And then they spend the next two weeks emailing the scheduler who has by now learned to ignore their emails...asking, demanding their money on something that was not aso ordered.
Then, they blame the business. They begin to bad mouth the place they just could not wait to do a shop for to get paid. Follow directins and be nice. Before a shop they do not know when they will be paid or how much. They dream up a price and think you should pay an unagreed to amount.
I love shopping. I do some of the casinos here in Vegas and airlines, travel res places and i love the fast food ones!!! smiling smiley. I always try to follow the directions to a T, and if I am unclean I email (printed record) a specific question to a specific person.
Lets focus on doing the job properly and following directions to be paid.
(hint) if you do great smaller ones, they give you the bigger ones that pay more!

LOL ... *types email* "I hereby declare for the record I am unclean ..."
I know what you meant, but it made me chuckle nonetheless. smiling smiley
Yeah Don. I hope we are not sounding like annoying lecturers, but it is just the way it works. Schedulers are very pressured and if they get unwarrented attitude you might as well forgetabouit.
Hint: Schedulers get a huge amt of e-mails a day so be brief and to the point.
