Companies that shop downstate IL?

Wondering if anyone else is doing shops in "downstate" IL (ie outside of Chicago suburbs) and what companies you find the best for this.

A few I've had good luck with:

Bare International
Beyond Hello
Customer Impact
Intellishop
JM Ridgeway
Maritz
Market Force
Measure CP
Pinnacle
Second TO None
Service Check
Service Performance Group

I have been to a fun restaurant in Chicago thru Mercantile, only restaurants, have not checked the subs.....you seem to be registered with many great MSC's, check their locations, I'm sure you can find a "run", will you go into Chicago, so many there.

Live consciously....
Do do you really mean downstate Il (Central IL & Southern IL?) or suburbs; not Chicago.

I live in Central IL and there are tons of companies that shop this area and I see many shops in Southern IL that are too far to travel to.

I live in central IL - almost the middle of the state. I have traveled to cities within about 50 miles - I'm in the middle of a circle of cities.

I also travel to western IL about once a month for family, so I try to pick up shops along the way.

I'll check that one out, thanks!

I've never gone into Chicago and suburbs for the purpose of mystery shopping - it's about a 3 hr drive for me so I figure it's not worth it unless I'm going there for something else.

Do you mean Corporate Research International?

I've seen those, but feel like they're not worth it because they pay so little and I have the training sessions to complete before I can even do them,
We probably live close to one another.

I grew up in South Central Illinois and occasionally do shops for Confero in the area just South of Springfield. They contact me quite often to see if I am available, but I don't go there often enough to help them.

Thanks - I will check them out!
CoRI's shops have notoriously low starting pay, but monitor them closely, because the payments will shoot through the roof near the end of the month. I live in a fairly populated area, and the starting $4 big box home improvement shops routinely get north of $10 if you let them sit enough.

Ill have to do a search for an answer to this one... but is there some way to see the pay for the shops before you take all the training, etc?

Not really - just imagine the lowest price you would ever think and then the fee would probably be about 10% of that! BUT you are not going to take the shops at that fee .... you are going to wait for the bonuses! So what you need to do is go in the profile and sign up for the daily email because that shows what the bonuses are...for example a craft store that starts at 3.00 is now up to 30.00 in my area. I train for the shops I think I might be interested in and then as emails come in with bonuses and I see what the shops get up to I add those in for training.

Hope that helps.
