Research Services Group is doing their two phased auto shops again. If anyone is interested they pay 75.00 but you have to visit same dealership twice. I like the company because the work is not that difficult and they pay quickly. You have to take part in a once a year conference call but it is worth it. I did six of these shops last month and was paid every two weeks on the completed shops. Tell Lisa Pastor Curtis sent you.

I'm doing one next month in my town...report will be a bear and two visits, very different than I have done, hope it goes well. The report looked extremely long and complicated to me...doing the conference call Wednesday.

I saw them posted... looks like too much work for the pay. Maybe I'll change my mind if I hear more about the job on here.

I have gotten emails on that one a few times. It looks like more work than its worth.

The second visit won't take long, you go in and try and get originial price for car lowered, in full the two visits should take 1 hour 20 minutes (if your lucky). The report is pages long and my ulcer is already acting up. Good news for me is no driving, in our Auto row 2 miles from house. I think they price things for the visit and forget abuot the report, although $75.00 sounds great, break it down and your getting about $22.00.

Anyone know what's up with the current round of Microsoft shops? Email asking for today only shoppers is sent about 4 pm for same day service. Not so bad except I have gotten it multitude of times this week, apply and still see it next day.
By 4 pm one would hope ones schedules are already lined up!

I know - I have literally gotten these email notifications twice AFTER I have gotten home from the town where the shops are located. In one case I was planning on going back the next day but the email is clear its for TODAY ONLY and then I get home the next day and the email is there again. I could do it if I had a window of time.

I've applied for those more than once and never got a nibble. Same job is e-mailed at least 2-3x a day.

This has really become a problem for me. I wanted to do their bank shops. These are the one that you can only do 5 a week and only 1 per day. I have a full time job and can only shop on Saturdays, so I like to set my month up and then plug other shops in around the area of the bank I will be doing.
They sent out a email with about 30 banks all with a one week window. With the fact that they are now using a scheduling company,I didn't know if I should apply for 3 or 4 shops in hopes of getting one of them, or to just apply for one and hope to get it. Also add to the equation that one of the other companies that do these shops has a whole list I can self assign. I didn't want to end up with no banks for Saturday, but I didn't want to have 2 scheduled. I called the scheduler and got no help or insight at all. She just said to only apply for one and "hope" to get it. The she added that the one that are not assigned for this week will have the date moved out to the next week and they will send out another email at that time and I can try for another one then.

I wanted to do the bank shops with this company because I do a lot of shops with the other MSP and I like to have my payments come in at different time during the months instead of all in one check.

Do any of you do more than a total of 5 shops per month, or 1 per day for different companies? I have asked both RSG and the other company if I can do the 5 for them and also the 5 or 1 or 2 or whatever for another company and can get no answer. I would love to be able to do 2 per Saturday, but then I would l hate to get kicked out of the program altogether.

I was removed from the program for exceeding the one per day through 3 MSCs, but the bank didn't seem to object to my completing 15 per month. My actions cost me in excess of $2000 per yr., as some had bonuses.

Okay, that's good enough for me. I will limit myself to the one.
