What MSC is it? I'd like to know, so I can avoid them!

If you are foolish enough to have taken a job for them, I suggest calling and emailing EVERY single day until you get paid. It seems to work. Don't expect any response other than a check eventually showing up.

It took well over 6 months to be reimbursed by them. They claimed the economy. I contacted the BBB and that did not help. Their rating btw is an F. I did contact a local Chicago investigative reporter and I got payment within days.
I was deactivated from this company for no reason, I am pretty sure I never took a job. I emailed to ask why and got nothing. I guess I am lucky

After I did one (unpaid) shop for these criminals I found a thread on this website that told me many other people were ripped off by them too. I decided to take action.
I submitted a claim to the state's attorney and they accepted it. They contacted Restaurant Evaluators on my behalf and said they 'hoped' we could work something out.
Two weeks later I received an email from R Eval saying that the check was in the mail. That was three weeks ago - still no check.
I intend to contact the State's Attorney again and again, until I am paid in full. I encourage everyone who reads this post to get the authorities involved.
This bad business hurts us all. There is strength in numbers and numbers make a difference. Perhaps when enough of us stand against this type of abuse it will end.

Please contact Pam Zekman, Investigative Reporter at Channel 2 in Chicago. Google "Pam Zekman" and "Channel 2" and you should be able to find a link for submission for an investigation. I submitted my information and low and behold, I got paid.

The check arrived; I was shorted four dollars and some change but I deposited it anyway. Adam from the state's atty called to follow-up with me and told me to wait ten days to make sure the check doesn't bounce. He also said this...
Since 2001 only 8 claims have been submitted against Restaurant Evaluators and that includes me. What? I was stunned. Why doesn't everyone file?
I encourage any of you that have been swindled by these folks (or others) to get the authorities involved. It took less time to file a claim that it takes me to write a shop report!

In not all states does the state's atty get involved. In FL, for example, they will prosecute bounced checks, but failure to pay per contract is a Small Claims court referral where the filing fees are around $250 in my county. And what I have observed of Small Claims is that everything gets referred to an Arbitrator, who generally adds up the claimed amount and the filing costs and divides it in two for each party to bear half of the cost. So if you were out $100 and file, $350 would be divided in two and you each would be responsible for $175. Net effect is that you as the plantiff come out $75 further in the hole and have a whole lot of hassle. If you don't agree to arbitration the judge decides your claim wasn't serious so throws it out, leaving you out $350.
It amazes me that in other parts of the country Small Claims filings are in the $15 range. Where that is the case it would at least allow SOME recovery of smallish losses even if you were sent to an Arbitrator who decided to cut it in half with each party responsible for 50%.
