ATH Power, bank shops

Does anyone know anything about ATH canceling most of their February shops for a major bank that they have had for years?

No...I'm in Texas. But since I posted this I received the following reply from my scheduler:
"Ath Power got completely different locations for February. We will
post them tomorrow."

So, I don't know what the confusion is, or was, but I guess they will be back up on the board tomorrow. It was strange, because the client has hundreds of branches in North Texas alone, and many go begging.

In my area, they have one bank still on their job board, but the other one has not yet shown up.

Has anyone done any of their "Tooth Care Provider" shops?

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.

I'm still debating whether the 30+ min qualifying exam to maybe get a shop is worth it. Most people are paid during training.

I saw that, but in my area that bank is still on the Chase boards so I don't know who lost it.

I just did 6 bank jobs for Ath. That was on the 17th & 18th of Jan. On my log file it shows they were received but there is nothing else to show that they were reviewed. I know they pay at the end of the next month after the shop. I was just wondering if anyone knows how soon they post this. They called me to do these as they needed to get done soon. She bonused them so I took them.

Don't know about cancellations, but I saw the email from a different MSC that said they "won" an account for certain said major bank. To me, that means that someone probably lost (or is in the process of losing) them. The client is one whose shops have appeared with another MSC.

I have done shops for the same bank for three different companies.
And they all have different rules, too.
Go figure.

Based upon my experience you should see it posted paid around 3/1. The actual check can take another 2-3 weeks for you to receive it. With ath they do not tell you when they review it. If they need further clarification they will contact you via email. If you do not hear from them then assume the report is good.

I was assigned one, and it was canceled. Now I get an e-mail today with many more available locations. ???????????????

They are slow paying. Do the shops and pretend that they are a Christmas fund. Some shops pay so slow that I call them a Cristmas Fund.

Ok Thanks computer_man & richraynor for the info. This is my first job with this company. So I will just sit on it and wait for the Easter eggs to hatch! LOL Glad I did not have out of pocket expenses.

I received the same Email...I think you're right. Some company is probably losing the account.

I just opened new checking acct. for Bank to get jobs...they were offering $125.00 to open account. Since I wanted to do this anyway, seemed like a good idea. Gonna have DD go into this account, easier for me to track, and now I can do the Bank, it is new to this MSC, and yes, (Kittybrat), mine just opened in a major super market. Got 125.00 for opening acct. with just 100.00.

I do about 20 shops for Ath Power every month. Getting tired of the really slow pay, though. Still have not received January's check. Sheesh!

I debated and decided they were 1. too much bother for too little $; 2. if they went qwerky I still had to deal with that dentist locally. So no, I didn't do it.

If you have been doing 20 shops a month then you should be use to their pay schedule. Remember, there are always other MSCs for you to work for that pay faster.

Have you emailed or called them? I got paid in a very timely manner when I did shops for them in DEcemer.

I haven't had any problems I will only do the shops that I want to do and won't do them again for at least 6 months. As I am very easy to remember and in Oct 4 shops got my chek in Dec. nov. 5 ships got check in Jan and in jan 3shops got check today. So I don't have a problem with athPower at all. I still have 4 shops yet to be paid on 2 in Feb and 2 in march so far.

Finally got a check from ath for January shops. Arrived March 19, but they always say it is paid the last day of the month following the shops. Now that I know how long it really takes, I will plan accordingly.

Same here. Arrived March 19. Glad I knew to look for the weird envelope, too.

That's the double-edged sword that is ATH though. I usually do about 15 per month with them. Yes, it's around 75 days to get paid. But, for my area, there's an abundance of shops in a relatively tight geographic radius, and both the shops and input are relatively painless.

Ath Power lost the Chase bank shops that they've been doing for 4 years, effective May 1, 2011
