Yep, I've done a high end restaurant shop!!@Niner wrote:
ACL has high end. There are $150-$180 restaurants. You may not be able to see them yet. They have some internal shopper rating system that we can't see.

Are you all still experiencing their bribe-a-shop tactics? LOL!

See of you see the high end places in large markets like FL.

Hmm, there is a long list of places in Florida I never heard of and the reimbursement varied from one with a smallish gift card in payment to one place that used to have a location here but it closed several years ago. That one reimbursed $360. I would say that is high end. Here most of the dining is $25-75 or so right now. In this city $75 is definitely not high end.
Two drinks, an appetizer, dessert and 2 entrees would cost almost that much at any of the newish burger places if they had alcohol.

I live in LA, as in Los Angeles. Niner I was opening things that looked like restaurants quickly and not really looking at all the details. That particular one at $360 might have been some specialty dinner as I did not look. I know when they have wine tasting dinners etc they are more expensive. When they had the restaurant near me the business lunch which was an in and out quickly lunch reimbursed $60 and that was a few years ago. Dinner as I recall was prob around $150 at the time or possibly more.
Restaurants around here are starting to raise prices. I just got an email from one high end one telling us how they tried to keep prices the same but due to rising wage prices(min wage has gone up and still rising here) and also prices for other restaurant items not specifically mentioning tariffs but I bet some of their equipment and shipping fees are included they had to raise all their menu prices. I wonder if the msc will raise the reimbursements, at least in the cities with rising minimum wages. Our servers earn $13+ an hour now as a minimum going to $15 and many places pay over the minimum wage to their servers. The reimbursements here are the same across the country for some restaurant chains. Even here prices vary depending on what neighborhood of LA the chain is in. A few months ago my local store of the pizza chain that is no longer raised prices to where I could only get a pizza for the reimbursement. I used to be able to get a brownie with it and previous to that I could get a soda but for the past year I could only get one pizza to stay within the reimbursement. The other store a few miles away was less expensive. Same reimbursement. It is not just ACL. I see this in other ms companies as well.

I never eat at McD so I have not seen the kiosks yet but have no doubt they are coming. One of the mystery shops I do has kiosk restaurant shops but they are all on the east coast. It's a burger joint 5x as expensive as McD.
